The Village Vista at the 1866 House

RIGHT IN DOWNTOWN YS, this historic home built in 1866 houses two airbnb units. The Village Vista accommodates five guests & is a light filled 800 sq foot second floor unit with two bdrms, each with a queen bed & ac window unit. The second bdrm has a twin bed as well. Full kitchen, dining & living rm. Smart t.v. with Netflix & WiFi. The covered patio with table & chairs is one of the best features allowing a view. Steps to EVERYTHING; The bike path, Y.S Brewery, The Winds, Glen Helen. The space The Village Vista has two bedrooms, each with a brand new queen bed. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE SECOND BEDROOM YOU HAVE TO WALK THRU THE FIRST. THERE IS A DOOR IN BETWEEN THE ROOMS. Each bedroom has a window AC unit. Ceiling fans & a window AC in the kitchen keep air flowing through the front rooms. There is lovely light in this apartment. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary items for short or long term rental including a coffee pot with coffee and sugar provided, microwave, toaster oven, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, etc. The living room is spacious with a HD Smart TV, Netflix and WiFi. Eat outside on the covered patio or inside in the quaint dining room with a lovely oak table and chairs. **Please note that the apartment has beautiful but squeaky hardwood floors. Light sleepers should know there is a bar across the street that can occasionally cause noise on holidays or weekend nights. A sound machine and ear plugs are available.** The 1866 House is right in the heart of downtown Yellow Springs. We have two units available in this large brick home; the Village Vista and the Downtown Den for short term or long term stays. This historic building was built in 1866 and is steps from the Winds Cafe, the Y.S. Brewery, Peaches, Ha Ha’s, etc. The bike path is one block away and the Glen is a ten minute walk. Enjoy the spring & summer Saturday farmers market just down the hill at the Bryan Center. Dogs are welcome with preapproval ONLY. NO other animals are permitted. Please email the breed. No excessive barking or scratching. NO unleashed dogs on the property. There is NO smoking in the unit. You will be charged a $250 fee and possible smell abatement fees for smoking in the unit or allowing smoke in the unit. No use of candles or incense in the unit. Guest access The unit has a keyless entrance which provides for self check in and out. The entire Village Vista is yours to enjoy, including the second floor covered patio. The basement and other patios are off limits unless given prior approval. You have access to your entire unit and patio. Please do not use the laundry facilities on site. There is a laundromat across the street. Other things to note **We are, as always, thoroughly cleaning between guests and disinfecting.**
