Casa Marjs: the authentic, relaxing, Tuscan style

Built upon the walls of Chiusdino, Villa Marjs benefits from the Siena’s countryside wonderful panorama. Both the old style of the house and the typical colourful garden, mixed with the silent, peaceful atmosphere of Chiusdino, will be the perfect ingredients for your ideal, relaxing holiday. Due to its central position, the most wonderful places in Tuscany are easily reachable by car: Siena, San Gimingnano, Florence, Tuscan sea, San Galgano (where the Sword in the stone is placed) and so on! The space Tuscan Style. Have you ever thought waking up in the morning enjoying the silence and feeling the Nature? Have you ever dreamed to be in the heart of Tuscany away from routine, experiencing history and flavours of this authentic region? Well, Casa Marjs is definitely what you were looking for. Built upon the walls of Chiusdino, a mediaeval village placed on one hill of the so-called “Colline Metallifere”, Casa Marjs benefits from the Siena’s countryside wonderful panorama, where different types of fields grow and soft green/yellow colours paint the wide valley. The roof has been recently restructured because safety is our first priority. By the way, this essential work was done respecting both the old architectural tradition and the house’s features, in order to maintain the bucolic spirit of it. That’s why several objects and most of the furniture are hailing from the house itself: since XIX century until now. Guest access Vivid, peculiar Garden. Some words have to be spent for the typical, wide garden. Just stand up and enjoy the wind’s breath, surrounded by simple, gorgeous flowers and scented fruit trees. In a corner there are several herbs for cooking and just closer are present som tomatoes plants, fully available for the guets! Moreover, there is a kiwi tree where you can rest under its shadow. There are roses older than 50 years and the “great grapevine” more than 100! Actually, if you will be there for the right time, you could taste the wonderful, juicy grapes and/or the kiwi that are still produced! Other things to note Noteworthy: please consider that we are flexible with the check in and check out. We prefer after 18:30, but other time might be doable if communicated in early in advance. Car or motorbike are strongly required to reach Chiusdino (but also few busses are present). Only small/medium cars can pass through the narrow street to arrive in front of the house entrance. Otherwise, cars may be left outside the walls (2 minutes walking). Motorbikes can easily pass and also enter in the estate, in a small space close to the garden.
