Experience and enjoy the alpine hut feeling

Are you looking for peace and quiet? Here you will find the full load of it. But beware, not everyone can handle it! Enjoy relaxing days and find out what the alpine feeling is all about! The space The newly built alpine hut leaves nothing to be desired, even a shower is available. The outhouse toilet was also replaced by a normal toilet bowl. COOKING LIKE IN GRANDMA'S TIME ON THE WOOD STOVE is the big highlight and will automatically slow down your life ;) Electricity for light is available. There is a power outlet throughout the house, which is mainly intended for charging mobile phones. During July / August you are alone on the alpine pasture, along with chamois and deer. The cattle are on the high alpine in the Säntis area. Wonderful to escape any hustle and bustle. Attention! As soon as snow falls, the hut can usually only be visited with snowshoes (about 1 1/2 hours walk). If it is very cold outside, it is also cooler in the hut, so you need good, warm clothes in winter. The shower is also unavailable, as well as the hot water, which must be boiled. HOT WATER IS ONLY AVAILABLE FROM MAY - and the boiler only heats up on sunny days. Guest access Attention! In winter, snowshoes are usually a must. The cabin is located on a steep, sunny mountain slope. The walk takes about 1 1/2 hours and leads steeply upwards. So you should be good on foot. Food is partially available upstairs, e.g. fondue, spaghetti, etc. Please ask if you need anything. Summer: DRIVING UP IS ONLY POSSIBLE WITH A FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE OFF-ROAD VEHICLE AND A COURAGEOUS DRIVER. Cars without 4WD and if they are lowered are prohibited. It is a road made of concrete gel irons. Cows, cow dung and loose stones are to be expected at any time. We are happy to drive you up for CHF 25.00 / ride up. Parking is available on the main road, from where the footpath also begins.
