4 Bedroom Luxury Villa - Petitenget, Nth Seminyak

Created with Balinese laid-back, open-plan living in mind, this simple, elegant sanctuary, which sleeps up to 7 adults/ 2 children & 2 infants, is located on a quiet side street in Petitenget, within easy access to the beach and Seminyak's renowned restaurants, bars & boutiques. The space Bear Cottage has been recently renovated with a pared-back, minimalist aesthetic in mind and more than a nod to luxury. Designed as a haven to relax and spend time with family and friends, the villa features three bedrooms with king or queen sized beds, ensuite bath / shower rooms and space for additional children’s beds, plus one single room with adjacent shower room. The white-washed interior makes strong use of local, natural materials including sustainable timber, pale cotton furnishings, muslin curtains and netting, and reclaimed wooden furniture. The large, open-plan main living-room features a lounge corner with TV, DVD/s and ‘Indovision’ (cable TV), WIFI, a reading corner with Bluetooth speaker system, large study desk with printer / copier and a central dining area with an eight-seater dining table. This space can either be closed at night and air-conditioned or kept open and cooled with the three ceiling fans. To the side of the main living-room is a fully equipped kitchen with family-sized fridge / freezer, gas stove / oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and blender. The tropical garden includes a grassed area with sunbeds and umbrellas, a gazebo or ‘bale’, a green stone-lined pool with shallow wading area* and an outside shower. The wooden-decked terrace has two outside seating areas. *Note that the swimming pool is open plan and therefore care should be taken with child safety. If required a pool fence may be hired with adequate prior notice. Upon arrival guests will be met by our villa manager or housekeeper (daytime) who will introduce specific services and facilities of the villa. If you arrive at night our security guard will greet you and our manager or housekeeper will visit you the following morning at approximately 10am. The manager will also take care of guest registration with the local authorities (standard procedure in Bali); simply provide him with your passport/s (which he can photocopy at the villa). Airport transfers can be arranged through the manager in advance. Simply email him your flight details and contact number in advance and upon entry at the airport arrival hall seek out your name on signage held by the driver who will be standing at the far left of the row of drivers. Transfer fee is Rp250,000 from airport and Rp200,00o to airport (plus discretionary tip) for a standard vehicle which can be paid directly to the driver. Our villa manager will be on hand throughout your stay to assist with any queries you may have and our housekeeper and / or assistant housekeeper will visit daily (except Sundays and public holidays) for approximately three hours to clean the villa, make beds and collect laundry (towels changed every three days and sheets changed weekly unless requested otherwise). A guest laundry service is available for a small additional charge and a washing machine is located at the side of the villa for those who prefer to do their own laundry. Our gardener usually tends to the garden and pool in the late afternoon and security is provided at the security station outside the front gate from 7pm until 5am daily. Items available FOC for babies and toddlers upon request: - baby cots with mattresses, bed linen & blankets - steam steriliser - feeding bowls, beakers & cutlery - bottle warmer - baby floor mat - toilet seat / potty - high chair (x 2) - child’s step for basin - baby gate for bottom of stairs BEDROOMS The terrace (‘red’) room is located at the front of the villa with direct access to the terrace and garden. The terrace room can sleep two adults in a king-sized bed with space for a baby cot. The garden (‘green’) room features a full-length garden window bringing nature inside and sleeps two adults comfortably in a king-sized bed with additional space for both a child’s bed and a baby cot. The sunset (‘orange’) room is located upstairs, affording expansive views of the neighbourhood and beyond. The full-length sliding doors can be opened at sunset for guests to enjoy the evening breeze with sundowner cocktails. This generous-sized room features a queen-sized bed and a large daybed for up to two children. A recent addition, the blue room is ideal for an older child, teen or a helper / nanny to enjoy their own private space. Bedroom features: - air-conditioning - wardrobe - hairdryer - bathrobe & sarong - bath or shower room - mosquito net - in-room safes are provided in all but the single room Bedlinen, towels and pool towels are also provided. Complimentary bathroom products include shower gel, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. Guest access The entire villa is accessible for guests with the exception of one storage wardrobe upstairs and two of the kitchen cupboards. Other things to note A breakfast basket is provided for guests for the first morning including cereal, bread, eggs, milk and juice. A basket of local fruits and tea, coffee, sugar and butter is provided complimentary. The first large dispenser bottle of water is provided free-of-charge and each subsequent bottle will be charged at 50,000rph per large bottle. Our housekeeper is an excellent masseuse who can come to the villa, day or evening, for Rp150,000 for a one-house massage. She also provides babysitting services for Rp100,000 per hour and, with adequate notice, the services of our housekeeper or an excellent local cook can be sought for Rp100,000 per hour (plus cost of ingredients) for a special meal at the villa or entertaining friends. Both motorcycles (with helmets) and bicycles can be rented for a small fee through our villa manager, who can arrange for them to be available at the villa upon guests’ arrival. (Note that the law requires drivers to hold an international license to ride motorcycles in Bali.)
