It is a homey inn where not only advanced cyclists but also beginners and children can stay with peace of mind. This place is a route that detours from the Tomachi Tunnel for cyclists heading towards Nomozaki, so we named it "DOCK HOUSE" with the hope that it would be a strong, gentle, and creative place like a solo band dock where cyclists and local people who pass through can gather, relax, and connect. Spend a relaxing time watching the luxury cruise ships coming and going from around the world against the backdrop of the rich scenery of Nagasaki Port. The birthplace of modern shipbuilding, the World Heritage Site "Kosuge Shipyard" (commonly known as "Solo Bandock") was planned by Thomas Blake Glover with one of the Ten Restoration Heroes, Komatsu Taito (Satsuma clan), for the purpose of repairing foreign ships, and was completed in 1869 after a complete set of hoisting equipment was ordered from Scotland.
