A cozy family home, in the midst of a coffee and pepper plantation. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden, fruit trees, vegetable garden and woodland creatures. Our property is ideal for families and groups looking for a quiet stay surrounded by nature. We can accommodate 9 guests. The property comprises of a main bungalow and a lot of outdoor space. Elephants, Bisons and other animals frequent the area around. Please read all details in the section below before booking our place. The space Our property is nestled within a serene coffee plantation near a small town called Chetalli, just 16 km from Madikeri and 20 km from Kushalnagar. Centrally located between the north and south tourist hotspots of Coorg, most attractions are just an hour’s drive away. The Dubare Elephant Camp, a popular destination, is only 6 km from the property. Please note that this is not close to any city. The nearest small town, Chetalli, is 4 km away. The property offers a true retreat into nature, away from urban noise and distractions. ⸻ 🍽️ Meals and Snacks • We serve simple, home-cooked Coorg-style meals. • Breakfast: ₹150/person • Lunch/Dinner: ₹250–₹450/person (veg and non-veg options available) • Meals and snacks must be pre-ordered before arrival as we only stock supplies based on confirmed bookings. • Tea, coffee, and juice will be available on order. ⸻ 🕒 Check-In / Check-Out • Check-in: After 1:00 PM • Check-out: Strictly by 10:00 AM • Delays in check-out will attract a half-day charge. • Prior written approval is required for early check-in or late check-out and is subject to availability. • A soft copy of a valid ID (address proof) must be shared at the time of booking. ⸻ 👥 Host Availability • We (your hosts) are reachable 24/7 by phone for any guidance or assistance. • Our caretakers live on the property and are generally available throughout your stay. ⸻ 🛠️ Property Damage Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused to the property or its belongings during their stay. ⸻ ⚠️ Important Notes This is a homestay experience, not a hotel. This is a peaceful farmhouse experience rooted in sustainability and nature. ⸻ 🌧️ Weather & Monsoon Advisory We strive to ensure a comfortable stay, but being in the Western Ghats, we are sometimes at the mercy of unpredictable monsoon weather. During heavy rains, you may encounter: • Temporary disruptions due to fallen trees or power lines • Minor roof leaks caused by shifting ceiling tiles • Internet or water supply issues due to power fluctuations We have a power backup system to minimize inconvenience, and our team will respond as quickly as possible. However, some issues may take until the following day to resolve. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities, and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. ⸻ 🌿 A Note About Wildlife As this is a farmhouse within a living, breathing estate, don’t be surprised to see spiders, frogs, lizards, and other such creatures during your stay. These are not bugs, but a natural part of our sustainable ecosystem. Their presence is a sign of a healthy, thriving environment and we kindly ask you to embrace them as part of the authentic plantation experience. ••• Please don’t rearrange our furniture, don’t eat in the bedrooms, and clean up after yourself. Make sure to turn off the lights and any electronics when you leave the house. Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door. Our neighborhood is important to us, and most residents live here full-time. Please respect the community and try to avoid making loud noise between 11 pm and 8 am. Smoking is not allowed inside the house, but you can smoke in the outdoor areas. Please keep in mind that this is a homestay and do not expect services and facilities that of a hotel.
