A beautiful art deco style apartment, a perfect mix of old and new offering you a unique experience of Belgrade. The space I travelled my whole life around the world as a stewardess and then decided to use my travelling experience and souvenirs to open this cozy, beautiful place in December 2017. It is an extraordinary artistic apartment in the city centre, suitable for four. The apartment is decorated in art Deco style mixed with vintage details to bring you back to the beginning of XX century in Belgrade. Decoration was also inspired by movie "Finding Vivian Mayer" which is my favourite one! Vivian Mayer was a nanny who lives in Chicago and posthumously became one of the most famous street photographers of the 20th century in America. You can find her photos decorating the walls of the apartment. A colorful portrait, uniqely made for this apartment, welcomes you at the entrance. There is also a comfortable sitting area with a lovely balcony. From there, a black and white chess floor hallway leads you into the kitchen. In the kitchen, the contrast between modern and antique gets its most original expression. The enviable list of modern appliances in there is supplemented by petroleum lamp, a old ventilator and a number of other authentic decorative details from the first half of the 20th century! The big bedroom has a queen size bed, and in case you have more guests joining, the living room sofa can open up into a comfortable double bed. The bathroom is also decorated in the same style, old Singer sewing machine as a stand for the sink, the special oak mirror and a par of wonderful wall lamps. Amenity wise, apartment is quite supplied with everything you expect from a modern place (high speed wi-fi, cable TV) washing machine, dishing machine.. etc. So, it is one unique place, and we will do our best to help you feel like home! Guest access The apartment is located 500 m behind the five star Metropol Palace hotel and Tasmajdan park with beautiful St. Marko's church. The Museum of Nikola Tesla is 15 min walk away. Placed in a peaceful street, and 15 min by foot away from the center of the city, Knez Mihailova street, Skadarlia street, 30 min walk to Kalemegdan fortress, river Sava and Danube, clubs and night life. The apartment is situated at third floor of the building and has no elevator.
