Beatenberg is the true hidden gem of this region. Due to its close proximity to Interlaken, you can easily visit the major sites yet return home to the best panoramic Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and Lake Thun views right from your apartment! You get to experience a true Swiss Alpine stay, away from the tourist crowds and high prices of accommodation in Interlaken. Avoid the crowds, enjoy the views, breathe in the fresh mountain air, listen to the sound of the cowbells and the occasional alphorn playing in the distance and just maybe, you will find yourself yodelling before you leave! Other things to note Accessibility: Our historic chalet is only accessible via stairs. The apartment is on the second floor and is not recommended for those with mobility issues. The Drive: Beatenberg is a spectacular mountain village. While the mountain road is well-maintained and cleared diligently throughout the winter, it does feature many curves.
