Description
Come and cosy up in our charming Norfolk cottage! Perfect for a couple looking for country walks, red wine and a roll top bath, friends catching up or a family exploring the Norfolk broads. Within easy reach of Norwich in one direction and gorgeous beach walks in the other, with a local pub by the river that you can walk to. The space The annex, attached to a 19th century red brick farmhouse but with its own entrance, is totally self contained. It comprises of two bedrooms, one upstairs bedroom with king size bed, roll top bath and separate shower and one downstairs single bedroom. Downstairs there is also a kitchen with dining table for three, a sitting room with books to borrow, board games and flat screen internet television. This layout makes it spacious for three people, whether that is friends, a couple or older family where everyone would like their own bathroom - but still cosy if it was just two of you. The sitting room opens onto a mature garden, where there is a table and chairs for you to sit, BBQ, enjoy the view and relax. Guest access Beautiful country walks on a working farm. Use of swimming pool.** The cottage does not come with a swimming pool but does have use of one. It probably isn’t the place for you if you are looking to sit by a shared pool all day if the weather is good but we find it works brilliantly for our guests who may want a swim in the morning, head out for the day and then may have a swim in the evening too. Pool is by arrangement, when not being used has a full walkable on safety cover on it. **please note the swimming pool will be closed for Winter from the September and not reopened again until May, please check with us if booking in early May , as it is heated by a heat pump and needs the average night temperature to be high enough to retain heat. However once that happens we keep it on the warmer side all summer. Internet television. Wifi Local boat hire easy to arrange nearby to explore the broads area. Village shop and pub in walking/cycling distance. Easy free parking. Norwich 20 mins. Gt. Yarmouth 15 mins. Breakfast if wished for is available as an extra. As are homemade evening meals. Other things to note We just wish to make your stay exactly how you envisage it to be and even more. Please let us know if you would like to bring a dog we make a small One off charge of £20 but the property can only really take one larger dog or two small, so always good to have a chat first. We ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times and are not allowed on sofas or beds. Please not the garden is not fenced if this is important.
