Situated on a 200-acre farm, on the beautiful Hastings River, the cottage is ideal for a couples or family getaway. Sit on the north-facing verandah overlooking the paddocks and views across the Hastings valley. Fabulous views by day, cosy wood fire by night. Kick back with a book, wander to the river and go for a swim or throw a line in and catch dinner - your choice. The space IMPORTANT: Please be aware of the strict noise curfew - no music or noise after 10pm. This property is not suitable for schoolies/uni groups at any time. Please don't book, you will be asked to leave. It is not a party house, the owners live nearby. Lovely older style farm cottage partly renovated with new furniture, linen, towels and kitchen essentials. Some kitchen staples and items provided to get you started for your cuppa. Reverse cycle air-con will keep you comfortable year round. Wifi available if you want to stay connected. The farm is just across the road from the State Forest and Bago National Park, ideal for walking, birdwatching, hiking, horse riding or mountain biking. It's only a 20 minute 4WD to the top of Bago Bluff and it's breathtaking views. This is not to be missed! Guest access The cottage is freestanding with a grass yard, several trees provide a shady spot to relax on a picnic rug. A covered verandah on the north and west sides gives plenty of options for relaxing outside. Other things to note Good Telstra phone reception at the Cottage, other providers not reliable.
