Isaacs Retreat is the perfect place to put up your feet and breathe in the fresh air surrounded by stunning scenery. Charming 3 bedroom house on 7.5 acres of native bush with panoramic sea views over the Indian Ocean & Margaret River mouth. 2 mins drive to Surfers Point & Gnarabup beach, 10 mins to Margaret River town. The space Charming, rustic house situated high on the Naturaliste Ridge behind Prevelly and Gnarabup. The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house is surrounded by beautiful natural bush and trees but has a spectacular outlook over the Indian Ocean. Close to the beach and Margaret River township it is a great location from which to visit all the attractions Margaret River has to offer. We have just installed a new kitchen with granite bench tops and all you need to produce a beautiful meal. Upstairs is a new bathroom with shower, toilet and solar powered velux opening skylight to let the natural light stream in. There is reverse cycle air conditioning to the main open plan living area and ceiling fan and free WiFi. Please note: There is a separate cabin on the property which is not available for rent but may be accessed/occupied by the owners during your stay. It is situated to the right at the top of the driveway (approximately 50 metres from the main house). Isaacs retreat is situated to the left of the driveway. We value and will respect your privacy. There are other sheds/garages to the rear of the property which are not for guest use and these may also be accessed by the owners during your stay. Guest access The house is fully equipped to cater for all your needs. There is a well equipped kitchen, open plan living dining area all with large windows looking out into the beautiful surroundings. The large terrace is perfect for BBQs and outdoor dining while overlooking the sea. Other things to note 3 bedrooms. Open plan master bedroom with king size bed and stunning view. 2nd bedroom with queen size bed and lovely view onto the trees and bushland 3rd bedroom with queen size bed and reverse cycle air conditioning. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have small verandas. 1 huge claw foot bath, great for a long soak. Separate shower. The house originally had just one toilet downstairs but we have just installed a new bathroom upstairs complete with shower/toilet/vanity/heated towel rail/fan heater and solar powered velux skylight. The main living spaces are downstairs, but there is a sitting area upstairs and all bedrooms are upstairs. It is a modest sized house but has great character and a lovely feel to it; there are 7 doors on the ground floor and lots of large windows to see out into the wonders of nature, beautiful trees, birds and our resident kangaroos. There is air conditioning in the main living area and one bedroom. In winter, the house is kept warm by an open fireplace and a vintage Italian wood burning stove. PLEASE NOTE: Due to open fireplaces, an open staircase, unsecured furniture and other hazards, the house is NOT TODDLER FRIENDLY. Babies and older children are fine - in fact older children generally love the garden and exploring the surrounding bush. The property is un-fenced. No parties are allowed at Isaacs retreat. You cannot see our neighbours but they are close by and noise travels easily through the bush. Absolutely no smoking or lighting fires outside. We are in a high bush fire risk area and you need to be vigilant in the fire season. Please note there is a separate chalet to the right of the driveway, some gardening sheds, a trailer and a double garage towards the back of the property. These areas are not for guest use please. We may need to occasionally access these amenities during your stay. We would aim to contact you via the Airbnb app to let you know if this was going to happen. Similarly we have a gardener who comes fortnightly and may be working during your stay. We kindly ask our guests to take the bins out on a Thursday night prior to collection early on Friday morning.
