We are in close proximity to the Pennsylvania border, 5 minutes to Historic Bethel Woods, 20 minutes to the Monticello Casino and Raceway, antique shops, great restaurants, farmers markets and yard sales are always great alternatives. Take in all the beautiful sights as you gaze at the lake, watching for bald eagles fishing that nest in some of our trees. Wonderful amazing colors of the leaves all surrounding Kenoza Lake. Sit Lake side enjoy a picnic lunch as you have a nice fire going. Fishing is great too 2 to 7 pound large mouth bass and chain pickerel are taken all the time. After a day of hiking and enjoying the sights of nature. Don't be surprised at all if a deer runs by you or you hear the clucking of wild turkeys, if your still you'll see them march by you too. After a day of adventure back to the house load up the wood stove in the den, cup of tea or a glass of wine, little snooze life is good. Or bring that wine upstairs as you soak in a nice hot tub or shower. Four of the five bedrooms have their own bathroom, very private. Our house is set up for the enjoyment of our guests. As I see it once you're settled in my Charming Country Farmhouse, really no need to venture out. It's all there. Canoe & rowboats with life jackets, inner tubes, swimming, fishing, hiking our 60acs through fields and woods along side a beautiful raven with stream running through. If you're lucky enough to book in July, over 400 wild blueberry bushes with sweat natural berries, ripe for the picking. Lakeside grilling utilizing our fire pit, picnic tables, and chairs, as you sit along side a bon fire with wood provided. Farmhouse is amazing. You will fall in love with the wrap around porch. Early morning coffee as the nature awakens all around. A nice dinner prepared in our gourmet kitchen. Then serve it on the porch on a picnic table provided. Then lounge on our comfortable numerous lounge chairs for dessert. Charming Country Farmhouse truly is a property one wouldn't have to leave except for getting the groceries, or taking in a concert at Bethel Woods 5 minutes down the road. Guest access Please enjoy our 60 acres with fishing, hunting, hiking or relaxing on the wrap around porch. There are no gas motors allowed on the lake. Electric motors are allowed. There's a canoe and 11 ft bass buggy boat. There's a fire pit lakeside for bonfires. Gas grill by the house for grilling. The property lines are mostly defined by Indian rock walls.
