Description

Villa in a hamlet halfway up the hill, surrounded by the greenery of the countryside, with breathtaking sea views; on clear days you can see Marina di Pisa, Gorgona, Capraia, Elba, and Corsica on the horizon. The villa has a large porch equipped for outdoor dining, and a newly renovated 200-square-meter square, equipped with deckchairs and parasols where you can enjoy the magnificent view of the sea. Next to the house, a huge space offers the possibility of parking your car. The space The location and the sea view give the villa a particular beauty; the rooms, three double bedrooms, one with the possibility of an extra bed, another with the possibility of accommodating up to two extra beds; a single, with a second bed; they are all large and spacious, each in style, with access to shared terraces, also equipped to enjoy the view of the surrounding landscape, consisting of sea and hill views. The exterior consists of a square of over 200 square meters, newly renovated, equipped with umbrellas and deckchairs to enjoy the sun and the view; a porch allows you to eat outdoors, relax in the hammock or enjoy a good read in the cool air. Next to it, another huge space offers the possibility of a barbecue, as well as a convenient private parking lot. The width of the building makes it cool and pleasant on hot summer days; the surrounding nature is the most pleasant for those who want to disconnect from the stress of the city. The surroundings offer several possibilities for pleasant walks, with panoramic points of poignant beauty, especially if you walk at sunset; along the way you will find springs marked by the municipality with special signs. At the same time, it is easy to reach the beaches of Viareggio by car. The city is no more than a quarter of an hour away, and offers visitors a promenade famous for well-known hotels and shops for shopping. Piazza Mazzini is central, overlooked by the Palazzo delle Muse, home to a Modern Art Gallery. From this square begins a city market that is held every Thursday morning along the promenade by the sea. In the stretch between Piazza Mazzini and the pier, there are still buildings built in the early twentieth century Liberty style, such as the famous Gran Caffè Margherita. To the south of the city, almost seamlessly, is the town of Torre del Lago Puccini, where an internationally renowned opera festival is held in July and August in a famous open-air theater on the lake of the same name. It is also easy to reach the nearby art towns, such as Lucca (20 km) with its walls and its "hundred churches", or Pisa (25 km) with its famous Piazza dei Miracoli, Florence (80 km) with its Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio and an enormous artistic and architectural heritage, or Pietrasanta, a few kilometers away, nicknamed "Little Athens". All these locations are also easily accessible by train from Viareggio. Do not forget that in one day it is also possible to reach the famous Cinque Terre, both by train and by ship, which in summer leaves every day from Viareggio. A stone's throw from the house, an internationally renowned organ music festival is held in the summer, in the church of San Michele di Corsanico. Sometimes from the terrace you can hear the sound. Guest access Guests will have access to the entrance, the kitchen, and a small bathroom on the ground floor; to the living room, LABELED IN THE PHOTOS as LIVING ROOM 2, EXCLUSIVELY DURING THE FALL/SPRING SEASON, ON SPECIFIC DATES AT A DIFFERENT PRICE; to the bedrooms on the second floor, which are clearly marked; to the large terrace on the second floor, as well as to a side terrace also on the second floor; and to the outdoor porch and courtyard on the ground floor. All exteriors are equipped to enjoy sun and relaxation. Other things to note Ours is a large and welcoming villa, suitable for groups of friends or families... A RECOMMENDATION: to get there, do not go through Via dello Zilloro, it is very narrow and steep! Follow Via delle Sezioni, past the "Corsanico" sign, after a few turns, you will find the pharmacy on your left and you will see the sign of a real estate agency in front of you. At this point, turn right into Via della Chiesa di San Michele, leaving Via delle Sezioni, pass the church and continue along Via di Casesi, to the top of the hill, to number 836 on your right. We look forward to seeing you! Don't hesitate to contact us for Lucca Comics, for the olive harvest, for the fabulous Viareggio carnival, for spring break! AS OF AUGUST 1, 2022, THE MUNICIPALITY OF MASSAROSA IMPOSES A TOURIST TAX OF €1.50 PER DAY PER PERSON, UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 5 DAYS.
