The Old Stone Farmhouse with Hot Tub & Heated Pool

Renovated historic stone farmhouse located about 6km from both Picton and Bloomfield. Relax in the hot tub, swim in the pool, lay in the hammock or enjoy a campfire under the stars. Over 2 acres of beautiful country views to explore. However, we are still close enough to the action that you can get to Bloomfield, Picton or some of the biggest wineries by bike. Ideal for couples and small group getaways. Hot tub is operational year round. Pool is open beginning of June - end of September. The space This space is our much loved home away from home, however with our two young children we unfortunately cannot make it there as much as we would like, so have opened it up for others to enjoy. It is all recently renovated, but still has tons of character and history. The house was originally owned by UofT for their agricultural studies class until it was purchased by the Tubbs family, for whom the road was named after, and who we acquired the property from. We hope you enjoy the space and all its charm as much as we do. Guest access A lockbox will allow you access to the home. We are flexible with check-in and check out times, so please contact us if you have a special request otherwise you can arrive anytime after 4pm and depart anytime before 10am at your leisure. You have access to the whole house, as well as 2 acres of open grass area. We have a BBQ and fire pit (although we do ask that you purchase your own wood). We have a selection of lawn games for you to make use of, but ask that you please take care with them and clean them up once finished, so that other guests can enjoy them as well. There is a rustic table for you to enjoy meals outside during the day or under the stars in the evening. The tree in the front yard has been strung with lights to give you a bit of extra light in the evening, and some beautiful ambiance. Other things to note Bedroom 4 is double bunk beds. Two stacked double beds. Two adults can comfortably fit on the bottom bunk bed. The top bunk has a weight restriction of 250lbs, so one adult or 2 children can fit on the top bunk. Laundry is in the unfinished basement. If you want to make use of it you have to go down there. During peak season we unfortunately cannot offer early check in/outs. Our cleaners work very hard to turn around the house as quickly as possible, but it is a big job with the pool and hot tub, and they normally need the full time.
