You will be staying in our brand new 4600 sqft custom ranch home on 52 acres of secluded Redwoods. We are about 1000’ from the Pacific Ocean (no ocean views nor beach access). We are directly across the Pacific Coast Highway from Otter Point State Park & about 8 minutes from the Town of Gold Beach & the famous Rogue River. This listing is for our upstairs Queen suite. With your reservation we provide farm fresh eggs and other breakfast fixings and a beautiful gourmet kitchen to store & cook any of your own food. We are a family of four with two dogs. We also have a farm caretaker that lives with us. We have outdoor cats & an assortment of farm animals. We allow your dog to stay for an additional $50 fee per dog, which is 50% refundable if there is not excessive clean up. We have 52 wooded acres of grounds. Most are currently inaccessible due to the thickness of the trees. You will have access to nearly all areas of our home. We just ask that you be respectful of our home & other guests that may be staying with us as well. Someone is normally home to greet you on arrival and get you settled in. If we are not home, there will be check-in instructions to settle yourself in. We are a rural coastal community with several restaurants, coffee shops & boutiques. We are most well known for world famous salmon & steelhead fishing on the Rogue River. You can also take jet boat tours of the river, kayak the rivers &/or ocean, hire river &/or ocean fishing guides, hike, bike, walk or run unlimited trails &/or beaches. The opportunities for outdoor adventure are endless & events/festivals happen quite often. You will need your own vehicle (car, bike, motorcycle, etc) to get around. There is no public transportation. We are located off of the Pacific Coast Highway, however, access to our home is via Old Coast Road which is a one lane, gravel, historical road that often has hikers, horseback riders & bicyclists on it. Please drive safely. Under Oregon law, there is no liability for an injury to or the death of a participant in an agri-tourism activity conducted at this agri-tourism location if the injury or death results from the inherent risks of the agri-tourism activity. Inherent risks of agri-tourism activities are risks of injury inherent to land, equipment and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death.
