Guest access Garden is bathing by super hot sun shine all the day. But the staff of this place managed to maintain a tiny little vegetable garden in the premises. Small pond gives some nice cool feeling. During your stay My husband and I visited Mannar Donkey Clinic and Education Centre in January 2019. We were greet by a team of friendly and incredibly dedicated staff who showed us around the sanctuary and explained how the donkeys came to be there and what was happening with their treatments. They also explained how the staff are working with the local community to make life better for these donkeys that live on the the streets. We were able to interact with some of donkeys which included feeding and brushing them. The donkeys in Mannar are one of the most notable features in this area.However, due to their abundance, they are often neglected and rejected by the locals. The donkey clinic is a Rehabilitation center for injured and problematic donkeys and also a petting zoo/education center for anyone who likes to come here. This will be a really different experience for you if you are willing to stay here. Because this is the world first center dedicated for wild donkeys, and if you are living in it please tolerate the settings, try not to harm donkeys and not get harmed. Be friendly to every one cause this is the degrading nature that we need to preserve for future.
