Beautiful two-storeyed artisan villa nestled in the midst of an orchard & kitchen garden lush with flowers where we grow fruits and vegetables year-round. Enjoy the rich cultural heritage of Shantiniketan, Bolpur with Sonajhuri Forest, Kopai River & Visva Bharati University (closed wednesday)all within 10 mins distance. The nearest railway station is Prantik, also 10 mins. The space The house has 2 AC bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom has a king bed and an attached bathroom. The second bedroom has two beds, a queen bed, and a single bed. The first floor also has two casual seating areas overlooking the orchard. The ground floor is a large hall with a 6 seater dining table, a working desk, and a large seating area with an LED TV and a Tata Sky connection. There is also a low-height double bed. Guests staying three nights or more have full access to the kitchen on the mezzanine floor where they can prepare their own meals if they choose to do so. However, kitchen use is separately chargeable on a per-day basis and guests are expected to clean up themselves. If they do not wish to clean up, cleaning by the caretaker is separately chargeable. There is a large terrace and wrap-around balconies with lots of open spaces to relax and chill. There are lots of open spaces in front of the house for children to play. The house also has a separate room with an independent entrance for a maid/driver with an attached bathroom which is available at an extra charge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available at an extra charge. Please feel free to ask if you want more details. All meals are home-cooked by the housekeeper and his family who are excellent cooks and live on site. Personal Toto driven by the housekeeper is available for pick up/drop, sightseeing, etc. on a chargeable basis. He is a local and knows the area really well and would recommend you have him show you around. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house including 2 AC bedrooms, 2 dining areas, living room, fully functional kitchen (minimum 3 nights stay with an additional charges), wrap-around balconies, terrace and lawn. Other things to note 1. We are required to inform you that apart from the farm animals, there are also some stray dogs on the property. They have all been neutered and vaccinated. They are usually quite friendly but just to avoid any untoward incidents please be mindful around them. 2. If you are coming to stay with your pet(s) please bring their own mattresses/bedsheets for them to sleep on. Pets are welcome in our home but considering other guests, we cannot allow them on the beds, sofa, and furniture.
