Pittsburgh's famous Frick Park w/ endless trails is under a mile. Schenley Park is under 20 min walk. Phipps Conservatory a 7 min drive. CMU, Pitt, Chatham, Duquesne bus stops nearby:) The space A small private suite on the 1st floor with high ceilings, large windows and original fixtures in a well maintained 1906 row home, in the great active yet quiet Squirrel Hill with many restaurants and shops open. A full size foam bed, solid wood frame, new desk with light, chairs, wardrobe, ceiling fan and a private bathroom with a tub, make a nice, neat mini apartment! This is the only bedroom on the first floor. There is a kitchen and dining area that can be shared with upstairs guests. Free use of new Electrolux full-size washing machine and dryer with provided soap. A private door in back access a small patio. Free Wi-Fi. Free parking. If you arrive early or stay late we offer free luggage storage. We have a large deckbox on the porch where you can store things with a lock at any time. Early check-in / late checkout may also be accommodated. Guest access In addition to your suite you have use of the same floor laundry with unscented soap only, kitchen and dining area with refrigerator, stovetop/oven, microwave, instant coffee or french press coffee and creamer. We are a short walk to “61C cafe” for coffee/pastries up Murray Ave, 7 min. Pigeon Bagels (open 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM closed Tuesdays) is a 8 min walk up Murray Ave, left on Hobart🥯 Find vastly different Pittsburgh pizzas walking up Murray Ave: 1st is “Mineo’s Pizza House” (cheesy) then “Aiello’s Pizza” (saucy) is on your left. A block further up is “Napoli Pizza”, salty crust:-) And then “Pastolis” up on the corner is homey with a gluten-free option. Check out “Papelón Venezuelan Arepas”, “Maya Sushi”, “The Mediterranean Table” (we just had a great lamb kabob), and “Viet Nom Nom” (great Banh Mi)- all just up Murray Ave. Allegro makes fresh sourdough breads, just Murray Ave. We are a walk from the Mac Miller sites fans pilgrimage to pay tribute at Blue Slide Park, Taylor Alderdice, Frick Park Market to the serene grounds of Homewood Cemetery. Walking Distance to Wightman School hosting Contra dances Friday nights. Afters Cafe now open on Murray Ave 🍨 Starbucks is just down and across the street.
