Do you want to try Life in The Jungle? The jungle bar resto & cottages, is 5km far from port Barton, 10mn walking from one of The most beautifull beach around, called white beach. We are on top of A hill, on a 15ha land. amazing overlooking on The sea and Island. Not far, at the entrance of The land, there is a farm with pigs, ducks, chiken and cow. Electricity is running from 6pm to midnight at least. with a beautifull bathroom, Open on the sea. This is The perfect place to relax a few days. The space those beautifull wooden bungalow are built far enough from each other to keep your privacy and feel the beauty of nature. each one has his bamboo bathroom open on this amazing view on mangrove and sea. Other things to note Please read the following information carefully to ensure your comfort and avoid any surprises. To get to Port Barton from Puerto Princesa, there are regular vans available every day from 6am to 5 or 6pm at the airport or bus terminal. The trip takes a minimum of 2.30 hours and costs PHP 550 per person. From El Nido, there are also regular vans available at the bus terminal for PHP 650 per person. Currently, there are no regular transportation options available from San Vicente. You can try to find a boat at the pier or hire a taxi for private transportation. The cost for private transportation from Puerto Princesa is approximately PHP 5,000, from El Nido is approximately PHP 6,000, and from San Vicente is approximately PHP 3,500. Once you arrive in Port Barton, you can take a boat from Barton Bay to White Beach and then walk 10-15 minutes to reach us. The boat ride costs more or less PHP 500 per person (depends on how you negociate with the boatman) and takes about 10 minutes. Please note that the boat is only available during the day and there are no boats available after 5pm. Alternatively, we can arrange for a 4x4 car to pick you up and bring you to Jungle Bar for PHP 200 per person during the day or PHP 300 per person at night. The car ride takes about 20 minutes. It's important to note that the 5km distance between Port Barton and our location is a trail that may be difficult to navigate by motorbike if you are not experienced. Many people do choose to drive this route, however, so it's up to you to decide. Walking the distance takes about an hour and may be difficult with heavy luggage. If you arrive at night, your only option will be the car or driving a motorbike yourself if you feel capable. Please also note that we only have electricity from 6pm to 11pm or midnight. We do not provide WiFi and the only phone network that works here is Smart. You can purchase a SIM card for PHP 60 and get your own internet and phone number.
