High Country Eco Home with Sweeping Mountain Views

We love to share our alpine home with people who are looking to get away from the bustle of the city and enjoy everything the region has to offer. Wake up to panoramic mountain views in our eco-friendly 3-bedroom home. The open lounge spills onto a deck—perfect for a sunrise coffee or sunset wine. The space The inviting lounge opens up into a north facing deck which is perfect for entertaining and just relaxing whilst taking in the unsurpassed views. From all angles of the lounge and dining room you have gorgeous views of the mountains. The lounge is kept cozy warm with a wood fired heater and oven but there is also a large reverse cycle heater/air conditioner for your convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher. We love to cook so it is well stocked with everything needed to cook up a meal and spend a night in. There are three bedrooms, which comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. It’s perfect for a small group or family. The pricing is per number of guests booked, so it’s also very accommodating for couples. The master bedroom has sweeping views over the valley and the great dividing range and the ensuite includes a deep bath tub. The house has a fully enclosed yard and includes solar panels and a septic water treatment system that waters the garden. There is a laundry with a washing machine and we supply linen, bedspreads and towels for your stay. There are some simple instructions that we ask to follow carefully to protect our water treatment system. There are two adult bikes available for use during your stay. It is a picturesque ride along a designated path into Mt Beauty or a quick cycle to the river & swimming hole for a dip or a picnic. For winter, there is a full drying room with Ski/Snowboard storage. Guest access House and garden for your own private use. Bookings for 2 guests will have access to one bedroom. Bookings for 3-6 guests will have access to all bedrooms. Other things to note We try to be considerate of the playground we play in and consider the environment when making purchasing and usage decisions for the house. We compost your green waste and the house has solar electricity and a water treatment system for all sewerage produced on site. We try to up cycle, reuse, re purpose and recycle wherever possible. We think that is why our house has character and charm rather than being "magazine perfect." We donate 1% of every booking to a First Nations and/or environmental charity. For the last financial year, we donated to Firesticks Alliance again.
