Suitable for 2 guests, but if you have children, we can arrange for 2 young children to use the sofa beds. The space The retreat is ideal for a couple seeking some 'quiet' time away; or a small family with young children who would enjoy a simple farm-stay in the woods. You can wake up to a view of tall jarrah and gum trees outside your window. You can take a walk in the property to enjoy the forest therapy. We have a few sheep. Guest access Guests can do walks on paths in the property, exploring the dams, and boulders. They are not advised to explore areas that is truly bush. There are protected birds and other life forms, that guests are not to harm them. The main house is not accessible to guest, except upon invitation. During the fire season, fires are strictly prohibited. In the winter time, you may roast some marshmallows over a campfire. Our farm animals are always a delight for everyone. Other things to note You will need your own transport to get to the property. It is one hour's drive south of Perth city, and about 35km from the city of Mandurah. Our nearest town is Pinjarra, which is 17km away. If you are coming from overseas, you will need to hire a car from the airport. The drive is about one hour from the airport.
