Gorgeous Cottage in the ❤️ of Town

This gorgeous, newly renovated cottage sits right on one of Franschhoek's most beautiful heritage streets, smack dab in the heart of everything! You can literally walk to all the amazing restaurants and shops the village has to offer, but it's also fully kitted out for self-catering if you want to stay in and cook up something special. It's sunny, warm, incredibly relaxing, and honestly just absolutely delicious - the perfect little escape you've been dreaming of! The space This little cottage has the most incredible sense of tranquility, timelessness and peacefulness about it - the moment you step through that door, you can literally feel your shoulders drop and all that daily stress just melt away. We've lovingly renovated her but kept character with one goal in mind: creating a space where you can truly settle in, kick off your shoes, and completely let go of the daily grind. Whether you're curled up by that gorgeous fireplace with the mountain breeze flowing through the open windows, lounging by the pool with a glass of local wine, or just enjoying your morning coffee while listening to the birds in our pretty garden - this place has this magical way of slowing everything down to exactly the pace your soul needs. It's not just a place to stay; it's your own little sanctuary where time moves differently and every moment feels like a proper, restorative break from the rush of real life whilst having the buzz of Franschhoek village on your doorstep. Guest access The Cottage is all yours to use with a friendly manageress near by to attend to requests and help where she can. Other things to note Airbnb is an amazing platform for both hosts and travelers alike. Hosts open their homes for the love of it and extra income and travelers benefit from home away from home experiences instead of hotels or resorts. So with that in mind and in the spirit of the AIRBNB ethos I kindly remind you that this is my home - not a resort or hotel and I do not have a concierge, 24 hour staff and management and things in a normal working home can, and do go wrong from time to time. Appliances can give up, drains block, lightbulbs blow, leaves fall into the pool- to name a few normal things. I have hardly had any issues in the years I have hosted my home and I pride myself in always dealing with any issue as quickly and efficiently as possible - but I ask that all my guests respect this is a home and please understand this comes with the trappings of a home. It’s not 100% perfect with full time maintenance staff and service. Add to that we are in South Africa where service disruptions happen ( internet or power) and are not first world in response to fault logs and repairs. I can not control those situations and suggest we use the disconnect to connect in other ways and enjoy the break from the digital world.
