Located adjacent to the Cuckoo Trail in the centre of Maynards Green, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, is the charming Chapel at Barn Cottage. A former 15th Century Chapel which has been lovingly converted to a gorgeous, characterful, self contained 2 bedroom retreat, next to our own home. Boasting original features including an ingle nook fireplace yet retaining the luxury you deserve on your break away. Local pub just a short walk away. Ideal for walkers & exploring The space The Chapel, conveniently situated on the road through the village, and comprises a fully fitted kitchen/diner, large, galleried lounge, with inglenook fireplace, 2 bedrooms which can be configured as 2 x super king double rooms, or one double room, and one twin, please let us know your preference when booking. There is a pretty, enclosed, courtyard garden. You have you own entrance direct into the Chapel. Guest access You will have the whole space to yourselves to enjoy! NOTE: The property is quirky in nature and has steps to the main entrance, along with staircases inside. So may not be ideal for those less able to manage stairs. Other things to note Please don’t flush anything other than toilet paper down the loo, it works on a pump system that is fine, but won’t cope with anything cotton based. I have left bags for other items which can be tied and left in the bin provided.
