Camp Vagabond | 4 - acre farm Luxury Tents & Dorm

Camp Vagabond is a 4-acre property nestled in the foothills of Savandurga — one of the largest monolith hills in Asia. The camp offers you spectacular views of the rugged and untamed landscape and is the perfect getaway in the midst of nature. We are a boutique property with just 2 luxury tents and 2 tented dormitories. The tents are cosy, rustic and equipped with little unexpected luxuries like modern bathrooms and fans which will make your stay truly comfortable. The space Luxury tents: Our luxury canvas tents are carpeted and come with a queen size bed, charging points, pedestal fans and a luxurious bathroom with running hot and cold water. We have 2 luxury tents. These tents have a private porch which offer you an uninterrupted view of Savandurga hills. Breakfast is complimentary. Extra beds can be provided on request. Extra bed - INR 770+GST per head (We can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults in a luxury tent) Breakfast if required for the extra adult will be at INR 200 per head. 2 Kids upto 6 years can stay free in the parents room when using existing beds. Children aged 7 and above are charged extra Dormitories: We have 2 dormitories and we can accommodate 20 individuals in both our dormitories. Each dorm has 5 bunk beds and can accommodate 10 individuals. Each dorm is equipped with 2 showers and 2 toilets. Breakfast is complimentary. Please bring your own towels. Guest access Our guests can walk around the four acre property. Our reception area, football field, campfire site and even the farm is accessible to all the guests. Getting there: It is a 1.5 - 2 hour drive from Bangalore city to Camp Vagabond. You can follow the directions as per Google maps which will be provided . Points to note: We do not have wi-fi We do not offer accommodation for drivers We do not have a covered parking lot The approach road to the property is tarred and all vehicles can enter the property easily The property is under CCTV surveillance Other things to note Campfire: We can organize a camp fire in the evening for your group if required - complimentary Barbeque: We have a barbecue grill and we provide the coal at an extra charge of INR 250 for one use. If interested you can bring your own meat/vegetables and grill it on our barbecue. Our staff will get the grill going and you will have to man the barbecue. You can store the meat/ veggies in our refrigerator. Lunch/ dinner : INR 500 ( non-veg) and INR 400 (veg) per meal, per head and this needs to be pre-ordered at least 2 days in advance as we don’t have a kitchen on-site and we get the food catered. Please note we will not be able to accommodate any last minute requests regarding food. Please note dinner will be served at 8: 00 PM and will be cleared by 10:00 PM. Eve tea snacks - Rs 150 per head. There is a fridge to store your food and if you bring your own food, the staff can help to heat it up for you. Packing essentials: 1. Toiletries 2. It is recommended that you carry mosquito repellent, comfortable shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, torch,umbrella and a sun hat/ cap so that you’re comfortable in the outdoors. 3.If you’re bringing infants/ kids please get mosquito patches and baby food. 4. It can get chilly in the evening/ night please carry jackets/ sweaters. 5.Please carry flip-flops/ slippers to wear inside the tents. We do not allow outside shoes inside our tents as our tents are carpeted. We would really appreciate it if you can keep our dorms and tents a shoe-free zone 6. Individuals staying in dorms please carry your own towels and a lightweight blanket if needed. 7.Please get snacks, medicines and any other essentials that you may need as the camp is located in a small village and will not be easily available.
