Traditional Filipino Home with Pool near Taal Lake

Nayon is a private farmstead in Alitagtag, Batangas, a scenic 2-hour (1.5 hr without traffic) drive from Manila. Our 2-bedroom, 150-sqm traditional Filipino house sits on a hill, overlooking a child-friendly pool and a wide space peppered with fruit trees and grazing animals. Each large, ensuite bedroom is furnished carefully with Filipino furniture and mementos from our family's travels. We built Nayon with generous areas for relaxing with friends & family, we hope you enjoy your stay. The space Update: We have recently upgraded in modern features including A/C units, tempered glass windows and screens, Smart TV in the masters bedroom, 3G/4G indoor signal booster (for Smart). We also have a backup generator mainly for use at night in case of power outages. We are in a secluded community 5 minutes away from the national highway going towards Taal Lake, through a cemented Barangay road. Our house can sleep 8 adults comfortably in two bedrooms with two king beds, a single bed, and 3 single floor mattresses. Kids are welcome. We will request for a list of registered guests. Casual visitors are not allowed. Nayon is a family home and we do not welcome individuals with "paid" companions. Violators will be reported to Airbnb. Nayon is a working farm, so please do expect that we have animals and farm supplies around. You are free to explore, but exercise the necessary caution especially with kids. Being in an 8,500 square meter semi-forested area, you can expect we have our fair share of insects and creepy crawlies and wildlife (much of the time they are behaved) but also magical ones like red dragonflies and fireflies in the evenings. Guest access You have command of the entire place, except the staff room which is reserved for our farmhand and help. Other things to note We recently installed Airconditioning but we discourage its unnecessary use. We have NO karaoke and we are actively advocating against its use. We view this as an inconsiderate imposition on any community. Nayon Farm is about making personal connections instead of entertainment and distraction. We have a speaker for your use, for music and/or to drown out the occasional karaoke drifting in the air. Please bring bug spray, any essential medication, and your food items. We are a self-catering facility, with no food service.
