L'aia di Maria

L'Aia di Maria is the perfect base for those who decide to spend their holidays in complete relaxation and in close contact with nature. In 2007, we completely renovated it, creating a living room/kitchen, a bathroom, a double bedroom and a small bedroom; then going up a few steps you reach the first floor where you will find an attic with a double bed, a bathroom and a laundry room. The farmyard in front of the house is completely fenced, ideal for those who have animals with them. The space The apartment is equipped with air conditioning both upstairs and downstairs, in the living room kitchen you will find a brick fireplace, while the ceilings are all in wooden beams and joists. Upstairs you will find the attic with parquet flooring as well as the two bedrooms. Also in the attic, you will find a laundry room. Guest access In front of the house, you will find a fully fenced yard, where there are some children's games, a barbecue, a small table with chairs, a carport, and deck chairs ideal for enjoying the tranquility during your stay. Other things to note Within walking distance of the house, you can visit the castle of Murlo with its Etruscan museum. The episcopal town of Murlo is 1 km away. About 20 km away, you can reach Siena, while if you go to the south, you will find yourself in the center of the Val d'Orcia and the Crete Senesi, where you can visit some characteristic towns such as Buonconvento, Montalcino, Pienza, and San Quirico. There is an electric car charging station 100 meters from the house. As of May 1, 2025, the Municipality of Murlo requires the payment of an accommodation tax, specifically €1 per person per day for a maximum of 6 days; children under 12 are exempt from payment. During your stay, electricity and gas consumption for heating will be calculated. The calculation will be made by taking the readings from the meter upon your arrival and we will take them again upon your departure.
