L'aia di Maria

L'Aia di Maria is the perfect base for those who decide to spend their holidays in complete relaxation and in close contact with nature. In 2007, we completely renovated it, creating a living room/kitchen, a bathroom, a double bedroom and a small bedroom; then going up a few steps you reach the first floor where you will find an attic with a double bed, a bathroom and a laundry room. The farmyard in front of the house is completely fenced, ideal for those who have animals with them. The space The apartment is equipped with air conditioning both upstairs and downstairs, in the living room kitchen you will find a brick fireplace, while the ceilings are all in wooden beams and joists. Upstairs you will find the attic with parquet flooring as well as the two bedrooms. Also in the attic, you will find a laundry room. Guest access In front of the house, you will find a fully fenced yard, where there are some children's games, a barbecue, a small table with chairs, a carport, and deck chairs ideal for enjoying the tranquility during your stay. Other things to note A short walk from the house, you can visit Murlo Castle with its Etruscan museum. The bishopric town of Murlo is 1 km away. About 20 km away you can reach Siena while, if you go to the south, you will find yourself in the center of the Val d'Orcia and the Crete Senesi, thus being able to visit some characteristic villages such as Buonconvento, Montalcino, Pienza and San Quirico. From 05/01/2025, the municipality of Murlo has provided for the payment of the tourist tax, specifically 1 euro per person per day for a maximum of 6 days; children under 12 years of age are exempt from payment. During your stay, electricity and gas consumption for heating will be calculated. The count will be made by taking the data from the meter upon your arrival and we will take them again upon your departure, the price will be 0.35 cents per kW for electricity and 1.90 euros per cubic meter for gas.
