Shower and toilet facilities are steps away from the front door. (Fold up bed and extra mattress also available) The space Halfpenny Hut offers a unique glamping experience, perfect for a family break, romantic weekend or retreat in the peace and quiet of Leitrim countryside, with views of the Mourne Mountains and Castlewellan Forest Park on your doorstep. Our yurt is a 5 minute drive from Castlewellan town and 10 minutes from Newcastle. Halfpenny Hut can be converted into an open space for yoga retreats, birthday parties, workshops, etc. Guest access Entire yurt, shower and toilet facilities are for guests of the yurt only.
