Small quaint cedar cottage with Juliet balcony overlooking the Blackwood River in winter The space Gumnut Cottage is a delightful cedar cottage for one couple only. The cottage is approximately 15 metres from the main house and is private and peaceful. The cottage comprises a small kitchenette, living and dining and bathroom downstairs with a cedar spa on the verandah overlooking the property and adjoining forest. There is an attic bedroom with the balcony on which you can sit and read or ponder the countryside. There is a BBQ on the verandah, table and chairs. If you prefer to take walks we have paths around the property or you can wonder down the Balingup/Nannup Road or through the forest. The cottage also has a winter enclosed wood fire and air-conditioning in the attic for those exceptionally hot days. Guest access A croquet lawn is available with an adjoining bush summer house in which to sit with a glass of wine and view over 65 varieties of birds.
