The space A luxurious, brand-new guesthouse with 2 double bedrooms (with attached baths), a separate dining/living room and a kitchen. Situated in the picturesque village of Saatri which has all of 3 families living in it! Enjoy the deep silence of the forest, wake up to the mellifluous chirps of the birds, enjoy mesmerizing star-lit skies. A holiday or working-holiday at Idyllic Haven, Saatri can be a wonderful stress-buster. When you can take a break from work, indulge in bird-watching, go on short hikes inside Binsar wildlife sanctuary, mingle with the super-friendly villagers, or simply put up your feet and simply admire the Devi and other gentle Himalayan giants as they display a myriad hues through the day. Our super-efficient caretaker (and his family) will look after you and make you feel at home. Guest access Guests have access to their rooms and the cozy living-cum-dining space. They can also make use of the kitchen in case they wish to make their own meals sometimes. During your stay I may not be available in person. You will be looked after very well by the caretaker and his family. I am always reachable on phone in case you need any help or info. Other things to note Getting to Idyllic Haven, Saatri: - Kathgodam is the closest railway station. From there it is a 120 km drive to Tana village near Kafligair. It's best to hire a taxi for this stretch of the journey. - From Tana, it is a 2.4 km uphill walk to Idyllic Haven. Porters can be arranged if you need help with the luggage. Getting to Kathgodam: 1) There are 3 daily trains from Delhi (5.5 to 7 hours). There are also one or two trains from Lucknow depending on the day of the week (about 7 hours) 2) There are also several comfortable Uttarakhand Roadways volvo buses from Delhi to Haldwani (about 5 km from Kathgodam). There are several buses from Lucknow to Haldwani too. Please note that our tariff includes accommodation and breakfast. It also includes meet-and-greet at Tana village, the starting point of the trek. We have arrangements for parking your vehicle safely in Tana village Let us know before hand if you will require help with your luggage. We can send porters from the village.
