Burrow Cottage is a lovely, cosy sleep 6 property with lots of original features and character. It is situated between Windermere and Kendal, near the small village of Staveley. There is parking for three cars. With an enclosed garden, and grassed area with seating and a beautiful hot tub, Burrow Cottage is an ideal retreat for families and small groups, with amazing access into the heart of the Lake District. Come stay with us to experience the real Lakes. The space Our beautiful cottage has original wooden beams, a cosy fireplace and lots of original features. Walking through the back door, you are greeted by a large hallway with plenty of storage for muddy boots and waterproofs. To the left of the entrance hall is the large kitchen diner, complete with all you need to feed a hungry group of up to six people. All you need is the food! For a more formal setting, our dining room is just across from the kitchen. The room is filled with character and beautiful wooden furniture - perfect for a grown up dinner or a game of cards after the kids have gone to bed. The open plan lounge area boasts beautiful exposed wooden beams, original open fireplace and comfortable seating for six with a smart TV, DVD player and superfast broadband for every entertainment need. Up the original wooden staircase, you will find three generously sized bedrooms and family bathroom. Our master bedroom, complete with King size sleigh bed and walk-in wardrobe is perfect for early nights and lazy mornings. The orangerie hosts a double bed and a fresh look. The kid's snug is a great room for the little ones, with twin beds and fitting décor. Close to adults, but with room for some independence if required. The newly refurbished bathroom, with original roll top bath and separate shower is a great family set up with plenty of space for all. Our enclosed cottage garden, with grassed area and blooming borders is the perfect al fresco dining area. With wooden furniture and a relaxing hot tub to soak in on an evening that is heavenly the feel is tranquil and calm - just the ticket after a great day on the fells. Guest access Burrow Cottage is all yours, you can access all parts of the semi detached property. The hot tub will be yours for the duration of your stay to use at your leisure, please not this will be checked and maintained throughout your stay and the temperature is set at 37c. We have parking for 3 cars and private secluded garden. PLEASE NOTE: - The hot tub can not be used after 10.30pm - The other properties on site are not accessible to Burrow Cottage guests. - No ev charging point and we do not allow you to charge your car . Other things to note Please note that this is a working, family-run estate. Hot tub may not be used after 10.30pm. All gates must be closed upon entry/exit at all times. We are dog friendly please enquire for multiple dogs as There will be an additional £30 charge if dogs are part of your holiday party. This property is not wheelchair accessible.
