Farmhouse Cottage on Lake Minocqua

Our cottage on Lake Minocqua is ideally located to enjoy the walkability and atmosphere of island life! Keep your boat at our pier during your stay and enjoy the chain of lakes, stroll around town, or simply sit on the deck and watch the boats go by. We made great efforts to restore the character of our cottage by salvaging and refinishing much or the original woodwork, while modernizing some features for a comfortable experience! We think you'll love this island gem! The space Every feature of our cottage has been deliberately chosen. From making our own kitchen cabinets, refinishing many pieces of furniture, salvaging the original trim and doors to the design of our one of a kind bathroom! We have so many favorite things about the house, but we love hearing why YOU love it so much! :-) That is our favorite part of hosting. Guest access Each guest will receive an access code for our electronic keypad prior to arrival. Other things to note We have two homes on our property. This one is in the front, with superior views of the lake. Pets are welcome, however there is no backyard with this home. There is a small front yard but we prefer that this small yard is not used for dogs to go to the bathroom, to keep it looking nice. Therefore, if you do bring a dog you should expect to walk the dog for bathroom breaks. Walking the shoreline across the road is a good option, and there is a piece of publicly owned vacant land just down the shoreline that makes a great spot for pups to do their thing. Of course, please bring a bag and pick up after your furry friends wherever they go :-)
