The Cottage at Benedict Farms

The Cottage at Benedict Farms is a quaint farmhouse (circa 1902) located near Crawford, just minutes outside of Waco. The Cottage is located on our family farm. We invite you to come and experience farm life hospitality. Relax by the fire pit, collect eggs, or watch and enjoy the animals (cattle, sheep, donkey, pigs, chickens and mini horses). Perfect for families and small groups! We are just down the road a bit from Magnolia Farms. Downtown Waco, the Silos & Baylor are only 22 minutes away. The space The Cottage is on a 27 acre working hobby farm. Depending on the time of year, there may be calves, lambs, piglets, chicks and goslings. We have a half acre pond that fluctuates in water level due to seasonal rains. There are also opportunities in season to collect fresh vegetables from the garden and gather pecans from the ten mature, bearing pecan trees. Guests are also welcome to watch our daily milking of one of our Jersey cows. Boots and closed toed shoes are recommended. Other things to note We ask that gatherings only include those who are staying overnight at the cottage. The farm is not to be used for parties or for hosting others who are not paying guests. Also, we are a non-smoking farm.
