Tranquility View Guesthouse is located 1 mile from the Obed Wild and Scenic River. This secluded guesthouse has a spacious living room, & dining area that seats 6 to relax or watch TV. If indoors doesn't suite you take your meals prepared in the full size kitchen to the front porch or walk the few steps to the firepit and seating. Sleeps up to 6 with the queen bed & ottoman twin bed in bedroom, dual recliner couch & two cots. Full sized bathroom with shower. Front door keypad access. The space Located next door at Liberty Acres Percheron Farm come and enjoy the hammock, the two umbrella covered outdoor seating, and firepit with grill to cook your meals. If you want a new southern experience try your hand at Cornhole. Bring your gadgets and gizmos we have Wifi! Or bring your outdoor toys there is plenty of room for parking! Come and enjoy the great country lifestyle that Morgan county has to offer! Whether it's Hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, kayaking or canoeing you are just a few miles from the fun. Want a little more adventure?! Bring your four wheeler the trails are within easy driving distance... Windrock and Brimstone are within 25 miles. Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary, is our newest attraction. Come enjoy the tours, moonshine or the Wardens Table restaurant for a delicious meal and if your in the area at the right time come and watch a concert at the prison. We are also only an hour from Knoxville and less than 30 minutes to Crossville, the Golf Capital of Tennessee! Guest access Guests will have access to the entire guesthouse, the porch and outside area, including the fire pit. Guests will also have access to a nearby furnished 22 foot round patio, when requested, at no extra charge. Other things to note Morgan county is home of the Tennessee Mountain Laurel Festival (in May) and home of the world renowned Barkley Marathon (in March/April), one of the most grueling cross country foot races in the world, "the race that eats it's own", and the Barlkley Fall Classic, a modified version of the Barkley race, with more participants. This race begins at Frozen Head State Park, one of six parks, state and federal, in the county.
