En-suite room with a view, in Architect's home

A light, airy bedroom with en-suite bathroom in Architect's family home with beautiful views over the harbour and city of Durban. Double bed, desk or couch (guest preference), bathroom with shower/bath, and spacious dressing area. Guest free to use upstairs living space (shared with one other guest) - kitchen, studio, garden and swimming pool. The space The en-suite bedroom forms part of the top-story of our house - an Architect-designed extension to an old Durban home with veranda overlooking the harbour. Our home is set in a leafy indigenous garden, on a few levels. We have a long pool, and a few places to sit outside. Access to the upstairs rooms is through a double door off the back courtyard, and up a staircase next to my kitchen. The upstairs living space, kitchen and balcony are dedicated to the 2 Airbnb rooms on that level only (shared by the 2 guests on the first floor). We have spectacular views over the harbour and city and the trees of Glenwood. Guest access The space is ideally suited to a long stay, single guest. Guests are free to use the upstairs living and kitchen space and balcony, the downstairs laundry, garden and swimming pool. During your stay Guests could live fairly privately in our home, or we also interact and offer support to people who are unfamiliar with Durban. We have pets - 2 young dogs who are very friendly. My spot is well suited to clean-living, conscious people. Heavy drinkers are not a good fit for this space. Mutual respect is key. Other things to note Our home has good security and guards are present on our street at night.
