Kindal Glen-Dunoon Byron Hinterland Macadamia farm

This light and airy cottage is brand new! The large covered deck has a pleasant orchard view and our 48 acre Macadamia farm is a delight to walk. Take a stroll down to the lake for a picnic, spot a platypus, bird watching or just relax and enjoy the serenity. Dunoon is close to Whian Whian State Forrest, Terrania Creek, Minyon Falls, Nimbin, The Channon and a 30min drive to Bangalow and Byron Bay. The well stocked Dunoon General Store is 500m down the road and The Sports Club is a short walk The space There are two bedrooms, (one queen and two single beds) Cooking facilities are in place with gas hotplates in the kitchen, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and a 4 burner Bbq and wok on the deck. There is a washing machine and laundry sink in the bathroom. Please make use of the small herb garden out the back door. If you are here when the macadamia nuts or fruit are in season, you are welcome to enjoy them. We have a full sized fridge, TV, DVD player, DVD's, cards, a variety of games and books for your use. Enjoy a drink and snack on the deck and watch the birds and natural wildlife come alive at dusk. Always bring gumboots as it can be showery on the Northern Rivers and you will want to walk down to the lake! Kayaks available at the lake Guest access Apart from the Cottage, you are welcome to explore the farm. Lots to discover down near the lake and walks throw the Macadamia trees. Please be mindful you are on a farm so please wear appropriate foot wear and do not walk through the long grass. We have chickens, Dixie & Nugget and 4 Guinea Fowls who roams the farm. There are great picnic spots to take advantage of, please find a picnic basket and camp chairs in the wardrobe for your use. Following the driveway/path and this will take you to the lake. Other things to note At this stage we have no Wi-Fi but 4 & 5G work well from the cottage. PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY!
