This is the ideal spot to return to after a busy day of sightseeing. NOTE: Maximum occupancy is 3 adults OR 2 adults and 2 children (under 12). The space Situated at the rear of the property our little Bungalow is perfectly placed. Enjoy the picturesque views over the surrounding farmland, wander the orchards and pick fruit, collect eggs from the chook run, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet on your own private deck. We are centrally located in Golden Bay, just a few minutes from Takaka and more importantly, the Mussel Inn! We're 10 minutes from Collingwood. From here it is equal distance across the bay to all the major attractions whether you're heading West to Wharariki Beach or East into the Abel Tasman. We recommend staying 3 nights as this gives you two full days to explore many of the sights. Guest access You have your own spaces: a bedroom, second lounge or bedroom, a private deck, bathroom with shower, and kitchenette. These spaces are separate from our house so you'll have plenty of privacy. You're welcome to explore the orchards, picking the seasonal fruit when available. Other things to note We are a family of 5, my wife and I, and 3 boys. Our boys enjoying climbing our trees, biking, having water fights, and playing on our trampoline. So there can be some noise during the day - it is mostly laughter! Passing vehicles can be heard so if you are after utter silence best head further off the beaten track. The kitchenette/bathroom area is accessed from the door on the left of the bedrooms - see the photos. The kitchen area is compact but it has everything you need, there are two portable electric induction hobs, toaster, jug, plenty of pots and pans and there is a BBQ outside. We have just added a Smart TV so you can enjoy your favourite Netflix shows as you wind down from day's activities.
