A beautiful Log Cabin located on 187 acres of pasture & woodland set within the Worcestershire Wyre Forest District 20% discount for 7 day stays. The Severn river is 5 minutes walk away and the Severn valley Railway steam Train has a stop 2 minutes from the front door. Situated only 8 minutes from the historic town of bewdley and 10 minutes from the West Midlands Safari Park. Birmingham city centre is around 40 minutes drive. The last picture gives you a better idea of the location. The bed is a luxury Hypnos Premier Double bed medium to soft. We cannot fit a king size, please be aware before booking it is only a Double 4ft 6in. We provide 100% cotton bedding and Egyptian cotton towels. The cabin has a stunning rustic feel and a super cosy log burner to keep you warm on those cold winter nights. PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT PROVIDE LOGS DURING SUMMER SEASON MAY-SEPTEMBER It be fairly cold when you first arrive and the fun of getting it warm with the log burner adds to the rustic cabin feel. It gets very hot once log burner has been going a while. A radiator is installed in the living room and bedroom to keep the chill off as much as possible We provide tea bags and lots of free specialty coffees such as cappuccino, latte, flat white and hot chocolate for the Tassimo machine. Please bring your own milk for tea as we don’t provide fresh milk, sorry. We recommend picking some up at the local Co-op Garage or Tesco Express in Bewdley on your arrival. Olive oil, salt and pepper is provided for guests. All kitchen items needed to cook are in the log cabin for you. The garden has an up to 40 degrees Hot Tub with built in LED lights over looking gorgeous woodland on one side and a TV on the other so you can relax in massaging water while watching your favourite Netflix series. Please note you need your own Netflix account. We also provide DVDs and DVD player outside if you don’t want to watch Netflix. We also provide Roku on both TVs so you can log into anything you want such as your own ITV player etc but we don’t have a normal tv Ariel. We only have internet TV with Roku and most apps are free. The Severn river is 5 minutes walk away and the Severn Valley Railway Steam Train has a stop 2 minutes from the front door. This train goes from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. Situated only 8 minutes drive or a 25 minute walk from the historic town of bewdley and only 10 minutes drive from the West Midlands Safari Park. Birmingham city centre is around 40 minutes drive or by train you can go from Kidderminster Train Station which is a 15 minutes drive away. Please note we decorate for Christmas mid November and it looks beautiful (at the request of many of our guests). Sorry if it’s early for some. Due to health and safety rules the BBQ has now been removed so sorry. The Log cabin is NOT suitable for children. It’s not been made child friendly. A few guests have ignored this and brought children which is against health and safety rules unfortunately. Please don’t bring any children with you. Guest access Guests will have access to the house and garden which includes Living room/Kitchen/Bedroom/Bathroom/Garden and Hot Tub Other things to note BBQ’s are not allowed due to insurance purposes and fire hazards therefore we no longer supply a BBQ sorry. We don’t supply a large table and chairs outdoors as the garden is too sloped. PLEASE NOTE - AFTER EVERY GUEST THE CABIN IS CLEANED TOP TO BOTTOM USING ANTI-BACTERIAL SURFACE CLEANER WHILE SHEETS/TOWELS ARE WASHED ON HIGH HEAT TO ASSURE GUESTS WE ARE DOING OUR BEST TO KEEP THEM SAFE. The Hot Tub is included in the price and always turned on and maintained to the highest standard. Please note we have drinks holders and head rests for the hot tub in the big wooden box on the decking. Also please note that the hot tub doesn’t have seats it’s a soft tub which is lovely to sit in. Very comfy. KINDLING AND LOGS ARE NOT PROVIDED DURING SUMMER MONTHS MAY-SEPTEMBER AS THE LOG BURNER IS NOT NEEDED DURING THESE MONTHS. If you do want to use the log burner you will need to bring your own kindling/logs etc Please note there is a sloped hill to walk down to gain access to the property, people who have trouble with walking on slopes should bare this in mind before booking. It’s not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or disabilities. Tea/coffee/sugar/oil/salt and pepper is provided for guests. Due to high demand we have just started doing a celebration package for £29 extra which the cleaners do for us. They charge us for it as we are too far away to do it ourselves, we don’t live nearby. The celebrity package includes Prosecco, glasses, balloons and a banner. Please let us know if it’s for a birthday, honeymoon or anniversary. They use neutral colours such as white and silver. If the colour needs to be specific please let us know. We need at least a week’s notice to inform the cleaners.
