Relax on the expansive sun-drenched deck. Private bathroom for your booking. No pets. The space Your room(s) are at the street entrance level (no steps to the property), so drive & park to the left and well forward. 2 separate queen bedrooms; a private "snug" for lounging, reading, TV, T/coffee; modern & spacious private bathroom with vanity, walk-in shower with a view! Shower gel, shampoo/conditioner provided. Hairdryer in bathroom mirror cupboard. Separate toilet & basin. Enjoy a sundowner or a "to go" dinner on the deck. Take a relaxing stroll through the garden. Suitable for family (older children) or 2 couples. Please advise at time of booking if you are 2 guests as a couple or 2 individuals. Sorry no pets & not suitable for youngsters. Desk, porta-cot and small fold up bed on prior request only. Guest access Main door on upper level is a shared entrance with owner, plus laundry (available for reasonable use before 8pm). Kitchen not available though limited use of kitchen is negotiable on stays 3 nights or more. Feel free to enjoy the outdoor deck downstairs. The lower level off the dining area is host's private wing. Your complimentary continental breakfast is served downstairs at the dining table. Please arrange a time between 7.30 & 8.30am with host. During your stay Prior to relocating to this province of beauty & opportunities, Nelson, I spent 10 years cooking & hosting guests aboard yachts in the Caribbean. I feel I can judge when guests are comfortable with less or more interaction. I really enjoy hosting folk of different cultures & countries. Other things to note Off-road parking for 1 vehicle left of the entrance door but please park well to the Left & well Forward into the ferns! Extra street parking is available on our quiet Cul de Sac. A few metres up the road follow a walking track down & across the park to town (25 mins). Many other local walks will lead you down to Rocks Road & Tahunanui Beach for coffee or swim before the return home. Taxis (& Uber) are conveniently priced and an ebus service operates daily (check times & routes). Nelson offers a variety of activities including walking, cycling & mountain-biking tracks for the novice or accomplished. This home is perfectly situated on a low lying ridge. Feel relaxed, safe & comfortable in this great location.
