"The Mountain Top Oasis" is conveniently located in Mariposa and is the shortest route to Yosemite Valley (38 miles) as compared to other two entrances into Yosemite Valley (Oakhurst to Yosemite Valley is 47 miles and Groveland to Yosemite Valley is 50 miles). During your 38 mile travel to Yosemite National Park, enjoy the scenic drive along the Merced River and through the canyon. "The Mountain Top Oasis" is a beautiful 3300 square foot custom built home located on top of a mountain on 9 acres with 360 degree views boasting sunrise views looking toward Yosemite on one side of the property and sunset views of the mountains to the west every evening from your private suite; all for you to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy after a long day's hike in Yosemite. We are only 4 miles to the thriving and exciting gold mining town of Mariposa; we will share with you the local's scenic short cut. The Mountain Top Oasis is a two story home in which the Sunset view studio apartment is strategically located on the back side of the house, entirely blocked off from the rest of the house for total seclusion. The Sunset View studio apartment is private for your enjoyment only; private entrance, private bathroom, private living space, and private kitchenette (microwave, coffee pot, toaster, small refrigerator). There are no shared spaces within your studio apartment; all is for your pleasure. You are welcome to enjoy the surrounding property and all the outdoor amenities (excluding the hot tub as it is against county health codes to share with guests). Our property is private and secluded without neighbors. Come and enjoy the serenity and beauty of "The Mountain Top Oasis"! Soak up some warm California sun on the patio and enjoy the gorgeous sunset from your room. Or enjoy our 'winter wonderland' surrounded by the beauty of nature. Other things to note The studio apartment accommodates two people. Unfortunately, the studio is not designed for infants/toddlers/children. It is our policy to maintain a maximum occupancy of two as we do not wish to take on the liability of children. Contact the owner if you need to add a person. Rare exceptions are made for an additional fee. Additional persons MUST be approved prior to arrival! Please DO NOT ask to bring children to the property as it is simply not equipped.
