Charming primitive ( no water or electricity) cabin, very remote, in the woods, on 35 acres, bordering 5000 acres of Maine State Preserve Land. Enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, and Nature. There is a brook on the property. Ducktail Pond is approximately a 1 mile hike away. Amenities include OUTHOUSE, picnic table, fire pit and gas grill with burner and cooking utensils. A coffee/tea pot, fry pan, and reflector oven. Cabin sleeps 4, 2 queen-size beds, but there is room for additional tents and even campers. THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY OR WATER ON THE PROPERTY. We have gas lights and a wall mounted propane heater. Aside from the hiking trails close by, the Union River is a great place to swim or float. The Amherst General store has ice, groceries, gas and a breakfast/lunch counter.
