Welcome to the Sunset Mountain Log Cabin Retreat! Our cabin is a beautiful, quiet getaway in the forested mountains outside of Divide, CO. The cabin is decorated with rustic mountain cabin decor and has been completely updated and remodeled. Perfect for a couple's getaway . Nearby attractions include the Florissant Fossil Beds National Park, Mueller State Park, Pikes Peak, the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, and access to hiking, mountain biking, and fishing locations. The space Whole house includes two separate keyed entrances for the upper and lower units. UPPER UNIT — UPPER BEDROOM: This bedroom has a custom aspen log queen bed with rustic cabin decor. Sheets, pillows, and comforter and standard closet. (Additionally: Queen air mattress in closet with bedding in antique ice box at foot of bed) — UPPER BATHROOM: This bathroom is complete with a tiled and river stone stand up shower, toilet, vanity, and mirror. Bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and a hair dryer are provided. — UPPER KITCHEN: This kitchen is fully equipped with stovetop, sink, refrigerator, convection oven/microwave, toaster, coffee pot, pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils, dishes, glasses, and cups. Bar height counter with two place settings for dining. Water filter, standard condiments and coffee are provided. — UPPER LIVING AREA: The living room has cozy chairs, end tables. Smart TV with DirectTV and internet access in the cabin. — OUTDOOR LIVING AREA: Very private deck and yard on two secluded acres. Deck overlooking forest views with patio chairs and table. Access to propane BBQ grill for outdoor cooking. LOWER UNIT — LOWER BEDROOM: This bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with sheets, pillows, and comforter and standard closet. (Additionally: In living area, futon chair folds into a single bed using ottoman. Bedding and sheets are in bedroom closet.) — LOWER BATHROOM: This bathroom is complete with a tiled stand up shower, toilet, two mirrors, and granite vanity. Bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and a hair dryer are provided. — LOWER KITCHEN: This kitchen with granite countertops and prep island is fully equipped with stovetop, sink, refrigerator, convection oven/microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils, dishes, glasses, and cups. Bistro table with two place settings for dining. Standard condiments and coffee are provided. — LOWER LIVING AREA: This living room has comfortable wingback chairs and a futon chair that converts to a single bed. Smart TV with Direct TV and internet access in the cabin. — OUTDOOR LIVING AREA: Very private stone and rock patio with small bistro table and 2 Sky Chair Swings. Forested yard on two secluded acres. — HOT TUB: Beautiful, relaxing hot tub. Towels are provided. GREAT FOR COUPLE’S GETAWAY: The Sunset Mountain Retreat is a great place for a couple’s getaway! — Enjoy coffee overlooking the forest views on the deck — Take a walk or hike on nearby quiet roads and hiking trails in Florissant Fossil Beds National Park — Relax in the hot tub in the evening — Drive up the road to Divide or Woodland Park for great local places to eat and drink — Explore the area with a a day trip to the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, Pikes Peak, or Cripple Creek Guest access Guests have access to the entire house (upper and lower units) with private keyed entrances.
