Four blocks from lovely WWU campus & 3 from downtown. Bham. A close waterfront trail leads to historic Fairhaven. Hospital 10 min drive. Bus services close by or easily walk to trails, shops, restaurants & breweries! A living room with a cozy gas fireplace adjoins a well-appointed kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The living and dining areas are full of natural light from north and west facing windows. A tiled walk-in shower also functions as a spa-like steam room. Radiant heat under bamboo floors keeps you warm. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a large closet with mirrored sliding doors. Adjacent is a wooded path, screened by a stone wall and hedges. There is a sense of privacy and seclusion despite being in middle of town. Covered off-street parking is in the alley behind the condo. This cozy condo is located in an elegant, unique 3-unit building a stone's throw from downtown and the university. Washer/dryer only available for 30+ night stays. We endeavor to be excellent neighbors. Thanks for being respectful of those around you. The condo is on a hill; there are stairs to navigate whether parking in the front or behind in the covered parking area. The condo is close to downtown and the university; thus, there is a mix of housing nearby, including college students. Weekends can bring noise from students walking to and from downtown. As noted, the condo is adjacent to a greenway path, which provides nearby nature, and passersby (not within sight of the condo). The street, which fronts the unit is becoming increasingly busy, as expected in a growing city near downtown. Fortunately, the condo is set back and up from the street and bordered by a verdant greenway, so feels removed from the business of the street. Though we offer a flatscreen TV. We do offer Roku with access to your Netflix and many other viewing options. NO washer/dryer but laundromat close by. Dawn and I endeavor to provide a vacation rental of the highest quality. Guest access *As a guest, you have access to the entire space yourselves. *There are 36 steps to go down from the parking lot in the alley and 20 steps go get up to the front door from Garden St. Other things to note A note about housekeeping: It is important to us that each guest arrives to a clean condo. We also believe in paying living wages. 100% of the cleaning fee goes to the people who do the cleaning. So although we may occasionally offer a discounted rate, we do not discount housekeeping.
