Property Details Bedrooms: - The bungalow has four bedrooms - Three bedrooms have king sized beds. - The fourth bedroom has 2 single beds plus a double sofa cum bed. - There is a work desk with chair in the master bedroom. - Extra mattresses can be provided on request at extra charge. - Fresh linen and towels are provided per stay. Bathroom: - There are three modern bathrooms with geysers for hot water supply. - Out of the three bathrooms, two are ensuite and one is common. Kitchen and Dining - The kitchen and dining room comes fully equipped with utensils, cutlery and crockery. - The kitchen has a refrigerator, Gas Stove, Microwave, electric kettle etc. - For hygiene reasons cooking ingredients are not provided, but are available at the grocery store located outside the property (2-minute walk) - Ask the caretaker for complimentary coffee/tea/sugar/milk sachets. Living Room and Hall - The large living room has seating for 10 adults. - Large screen TV with satellite TV connection. - Wi-Fi is available and comes with a 2 GB limit per day. Additional Amenities: - The centerpiece of the nest is a bespoke recessed fire pit which can be used for campfires and barbeques at an additional cost. Ask the caretaker for more details. Cushions and blankets are available. -The outdoor patio is available for your use. - Enjoy the outdoor spaces and any of our trails throughout the coffee estate. - 2 Bicycles with helmet are available to use. - An iron press with ironing board is available. - A medical first aid kit is available at the bungalow. - Power backup is available at the bungalow. - Ample secured parking spaces are available. - There are CCTV cameras in the outdoor area. - Housekeeping will be provided during your stay at specified timings. - What you see is what you get. Regarding Food: - Breakfast is included in the rate, while lunch and dinner are available as an optional extra (additional fee). - You’ll have local cuisine to look forward to as the food served focuses on Malnad cuisine. (Neer Dosa with chutney, Akki Roti with palya etc.) However, feel free to discuss your food requirements and allergies with the caretaker, who is available to cater to all your hunger cravings. - The closest town, Mudigere is around 8 km away (which is around a 12-minute drive) and Chikamagalur is around 21 kms away (30 min drive). If you wish to have lunch or dinner, you can let us know a day in advance and we will have a hot meal ready for you. Alternatively, you can also have your meal in the restaurant located on the boundary of the property (2-minute walk) or pack your meal and bring it here if you would rather enjoy your meal with a view. Other things to note - The Nest – Handi Homestay is located on the Chikamagalur – Mudigere national highway, in Handi, Karnataka, India. - Guests can indulge in activities like estate walks among others. - On the boundary of the property (2-minute walk from the gate) there is a restaurant, coffee shop, grocery store, vegetable shop and home center which has everything you need for day to day living. - The town is also known for its Sunday ‘Shandy’ which is the local market day where hundreds gather to do their weekly shopping.
