Lily Pond Cottages - Blue Dragonfly 1 bed cottage

Blue Dragonfly is one of Lily Ponds two non smoking eco friendly cottages. You’ll enjoy your own spatious one bed-roomed cottage with a view of the pond. It is ideal for couples but sleeps 3 comfortably. You will love it's convenience to all Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay and all the surroundings have to offer. We do have animals on the property. We are a water wise property with rain tanks to supplement the water supply due to the drought in the Western Cape. The space You’ll enjoy your own private 40m² cottage with a simple, casual, relaxed atmosphere. The single bedroom is spatious with an ensuite bathroom. The lounge has a sliding door that opens up to the courtyard pond. The bedroom can be made up with two single beds or if you prefer a king size bed. The lounge area has a day bed and separate couch. The kitchen provides all the essentials for self-catering like fridge, stove, microwave oven, sandwich toaster etc. We don’t believe you will be spending too much time cooking though with all the great places available to eat out in Cape Town! The bathroom is spacious and has a shower over bath configuration. We do have animals on the property. We are a water wise property with rain tanks to supplement the limited water supply due to the drought in the Western Cape. We would like to attract guests who are interested in moving towards sustainable living in an urban environment with a focus on protecting the environment. Guest access We will provide you with secure parking behind an automated gate with your own remote and keys to the cottage to come and go as you please. If you choose to stay in you will have access to the shared swimming pool with outdoor seating areas for relaxing around the pool. We also have a shared barbecue (or braai as it is known in South Africa) that you can make use of to embrace the outdoor lifestyle that we enjoy so much. Other things to note We do have animals on the property. Dogs are kept away from guests in our private garden. There are other animals such as ducks and birds who have their own area. Cats go everywhere. We are animal lovers. Their happiness comes first. We are a strictly non-smoking premises so please take this into consideration if you or any or your party are smokers. For our and the comfort of other guests we do not allow smoking anywhere on our premises. Our property is not suited to children with ponds and an open pool. We are a water wise property. We do have rain tanks with a filtration system to help with the limited water supply due to the drought in the Western Cape. We would like to attract guests who are like minded and aware of the need to be conscious of moving towards sustainable living in an urban environment.
