DINING : Elegant 6 seater glass dining table under a dimmable sparkly chandelier - Ballustraded balcony off dining area with 2 seater french patio set LOUNGE : has a comfy L shaped couch, with wall hung LED HD TV and a certified Android mediabox (Ematic) with: *Netflix - included on Host's account. *NOTE : Netflix is INCLUDED on Host's account and complimentary for your viewing pleasure. Please use your own home accounts and passwords for Apple tv, Disney, Sky, DStv Stream / other streaming apps. The same applies downstairs for the main bedroom TV. (note on lounge photos : new comfy L shape couch has replaced original seating in photos) -Jetmaster wood fireplace - in lounge for winter -Further 2nd balcony off lounge with outdoor patio chairs (*tip - this balcony is the best side for sundowners....the sun setting over the sea to the west...) Guest cloakroom on upper level Separate INTERIOR VIEWING DECK on raised level for more gorgeous views...or morning stretching... (Technically floor 3.5 of this 3 floor home) Aircon - 32 000 btu split unit aircon in lounge ( for cooling in summer or heating in winter) DOWNSTAIRS Study nook with glass table, chair and desk lamp. Laptop friendly. (First dedicated workspace) MAIN BEDROOM is large with a queen bed and 2x armchairs. There is also a large dressing area with multiple built in cupboards. -Large sliding door opens onto balcony with its awesome views of Table Bay, Sea Point to the left, Mouille Point and of course the Greenbelt and Green Point Stadium just below. -There is a wall hung LED HD TV with certified Android mediabox (Ematic) for streaming of Netflix - complimentary and included on Host's account. Please use your own home accounts and passwords for Apple tv, Disney, Sky, DStv Stream / other streaming apps -FULL ENSUITE BATHROOM with soaker bathtub and shower, double basin vanities as well as separate private toilet & bidet section. 2ND BEDROOM has a double bed with gorgeous sea, greenbelt and stadium views -Long shared balcony (with main bedroom) spanning the width of the house from main bed to 2nd bed with outstanding views .... -USB plus c-type sockets beneath headboard for convenient charging and planning of your epic Cpt adventures! -2nd bathroom (is over the passage from 2nd bedroom, not ensuite) with huge walk-in shower, wall hung toilet and double vanity sinks 3RD BEDROOM features a double bed with an ENSUITE BATHROOM ( large walk-in shower, wall hung vanity and toilet). This bedroom has partial sea views - as well as views of the historic Robben island in Table Bay and the Mouille Point Lighthouse below. Open the glass sliding door and walk downstairs to the home's private splash pool and garden / patio terrace with outdoor dining area. The 3rd bedroom also features 2x bedside tables with USB plus c-type sockets beneath headboard for convenient charging and planning of your epic Cpt adventures! PLUS - own working space : study / desk unit with chair - perfect for laptop use. (2nd dedicated workspace - here you can close the door for privacy) Laptop/working spaces : One can also work at the 6 seater dining room table upstairs (with gorgeous ocean views of Table Bay and also Green Point Park) or : work at the breakfast bar (2 seater) (Both with nearby plug points ) 4-6 work spaces total in our home. Without forgetting ....one can also "work" at the pool / garden level at the 6 seater patio table. There is also a Wifi extender / access point ( wired) for perfectly fast Wifi on this bottom level as well. GENERAL -All linen is high quality natural cotton, Egyptian cotton or similar. -Both bath and beach towels are provided. -Afri earth soap and Le Naturel handwash and cream body lotion are provided. FANS - All 3 bedrooms have large remote controlled Solent solid wood 4 blade ceiling fans. Switch ON at the wall first to operate the remote. -There is also a mobile floor fan upstairs for lounge or dining room. - For winter, there are x 2 oil fin heaters in the 3rd bedroom cupboard downstairs. - We also have quilted cotton electric blankets on matrasses to warm up your beds before sleeping in winter. Cosy :) GARDEN/POOL LEVEL -Down the stairs outside and you reach the garden level with pool... -Small charcoal splash pool (Note - pool is deep with no shallow end - but there are mobile stairs as per photo if you need. Pool is not heated.) - 6 seater outdoor glass dining table with 6 x chairs & 2 x weatherproof rattan sun loungers, all with comfy cushions -Covered and open landscaped garden areas -Weber kettle braai / barbecue (uses charcoal only) -Covered secret garden with built in love seat with cushions - Small grass lawn area next to pool - suntan on a sun lounger here ! Note - Garden and pool serviced once a week. SECURITY - House is fully alarmed with armed response .... "Avenue Response" is our contracted service provider. Additional : live electric fence on the western perimeter. Intercom outside the front door/ Area is quite safe. Housekeeping - a mid stay service clean is generally INCLUDED once during your stay (if stay is 8 nights/more than 1 week, also depending on dates and public holidays). Duration: 2-3 hours. Bedroom bathroom kitchen clean and tidy. Arrival 9/9.30am - housekeeper has own keys for access. Note : additional cleans may be possible at an extra cost to yourself. Please inquire with Host well in advance to confirm availability. Self Catering - Whilst we are a self catering holiday accommodation however we do provide you with a few "starter kit supplies" on check in - for example - Nespresso coffee capsules, tea, sugar, salt and pepper, oil, Finish dishwasher tablets, Sunlight dishwashing liquid, washing machine laundry soap, bath soap and toilet paper. When this initial starter supply is finished - kindly purchase your own. This also applies to firewood for the Jetmaster. We will supply you with a bit of wood to start but thereafter the bags of wood in the garage are available for R100/bag payable to Host. Thank you. *INTEGRATED SOLAR powered residential home with BATTERY BACK UP POWER. We have 8 solar panels on our roof. We also have a hybrid 8kW Sunsynk inverter and 2 x 5kWh (10kWh total) Hubble battery packs. On a sunny day, the sun should power most of the house directly. In the case of any excess demand, Eskom electricity will be used. In the event of an area power outage or loadshedding, the entire house is backed up and you will have lights, Wifi, TV & plugs in the outage. Please note - Very high wattage high demand appliances with heating elements including the stove & oven, geyser and aircon are excluded from the back up system which is standard general practice. General note : As at March 2026, loadshedding is not happening (having ceased at the end of March 2024). We will keep you updated if loadshedding is proclaimed nationally at any stage during your stay with us. It is usually only 2hrs long. But even in that event, the integrated solar and battery back up power for the whole house will apply. YOUNG CHILDREN / BABIES - Our home is not at all suitable for babies under 2 and we do not cater / have equipment for same. Our multi level home has various patios / balconies all with open structure steel cable bannisters, various stairways with open treads, sharp edge and glass furniture, and an unsecured pool. For families with children aged bet 2 and 12 please inquire with the Host first before sending a request to book. Home is primarily for adults or parents with their children of 12 and over and has been set up as such. GUEST RATINGS - Guests who request to stay in our home with less than "5 star" past reviews on Airbnb - may be rejected out of hand, especially when it comes to cleanliness - eg have past reviews from hosts where homes were left in a terrible state and or extra cleaning required or worse : unreasonable / unjustified damage or loss sustained. Guest access This house is set up as a vacation rental so everything is at your disposal. Ingress and exit to our home is via the automated garage doors and interleading door - as the large front main door - a solid wood pivot door - is very heavy and can be tricky in the wind, so we keep this locked closed :) Kindly do not use. Other things to note This home is rented out on Airbnb by the owners themselves directly and not an accommodation or rental agency. You will therefore have direct contact with the owner. Please remember to bring your own international plug adaptors or your country / RSA compatible plugs. Otherwise you could buy at the airport on arrival or at a retail shop like Clicks, Dischem, Cape Union Mart or a travel/suitcase shop. In South Africa, the primary plug types used are Type M and Type N or Type C. The standard voltage is 230V with a frequency of 50Hz.
