The space Welcome to our family "cottage", a stand-alone guest house on a 1/2 acre tree-filled lot with a private backyard lawn area. The cottage is a cozy house with an efficient layout and fantastic location. The sunny back deck is a perfect spot for an afternoon barbecue, and a two minute bicycle ride will take you to the Chatham leg of the Cape Cod Bike Path. You'll be less than a mile from the ocean and two sandy Nantucket Sound beaches (Hardings & Ridgevale), and just a 3 minute drive to quaint downtown Chatham Village shops and restaurants. There is a driveway for on-site parking for 3 cars. We also provide the everyday conveniences of home to make your stay enjoyable, including kitchenware, games, books, cable TV with Boston Red Sox channel, and wireless high speed cable internet. The cottage is equipped with a dishwasher and Bosch washing machine and dryer. From well thought out informational materials including local maps and guide books; an annually updated folder containing reviews and highlights of local activities shared by previous guests; a pantry stocked with the often needed basics; to continuously updated amenities, we are committed to offering a fantastic experience to all of our visitors. Local owner (art gallery owner - TheNinesArtGallery.com - a custom woodworker - bateswoodwork.com - and longtime Chatham commercial fisherman (chathamharvesters.com) is available to welcome you to town, answer any questions you may have, offer directions and suggestions, and provide insider knowledge of Chatham's wide variety of activities and attractions. Our fully-equipped kitchen has a wonderfully efficient layout to join the comfortable and open living room and complement the outside living on the back deck and includes a fridge, dishwasher, Bosch washer and dryer, toaster, coffee maker, 4 burner electric range, blender, cookware, dishes, glassware, cutlery, and standard kitchen gadgets. The outside shower is located right off the deck. There is a private backyard area suitable for kids games. The bedroom is furnished with a full size bed, and the living room offers a queen size pull out sofa. Linen service (bed sheets, pillowcases, and bath towels) is available upon advance request for $35. Out of respect for all guests, we do not permit smoking inside the cottage. Pets are considered on a case by case basis, approved pets are subject to a $50 pet fee. Come experience all that Chatham and Harwich have to offer - sandy beaches, historic lighthouses, seal watching tours, world class sport fishing, scenic coastal views, famous Cape Cod League baseball games, renowned golf courses, traditional Friday Night Band Concerts, great local restaurants, and a busy downtown nightlife. Guest access Guests will have full un-shared access to the entire house, driveway, and private yard. Other things to note - Linen service available for $35. "Bed and bath linens will only be provided upon specific advance request and receipt of $35 non-refundable Linen Fee.  Linen Rental Service will include one set of full sized bed sheets (bedroom), one set of queen size bed sheets (pull out sofa), 2 blankets, 4 bath towels, 4 bath washcloths, 2 bath hand towels.  Linen Service does not include beach towels.  Linen Rental Service does not provide mid-week laundering of linens. The cottage is always equipped with 6 pillows for the beds, mattress pads for beds, several kitchen hand towels, potholders, and a bathmat.  All guests should bring their own beach towels." - Approved pets subject to $50/pet fee.
