Description

Our farm stay is located about 300 km from New Delhi at Chaudhary Farms in village called Tanda Vijaisi, Pilibhit, UP., in the Himalayan foothills. Akshara is a rural yoga school on an active farm, not a hotel or resort. Life here is simple, quiet, and close to nature. This stay is suitable only for guests comfortable with basic living conditions. If you want to visit Pilibhit Tiger Reserve than it is a perfect place to stay. The space Akshara Yoga Farm Stay is located in a remote farming area, surrounded by fields and nature. This space supports our yoga school and is designed for people who value silence, simplicity, and a yogic lifestyle rather than comfort or convenience. Daily life here is intentionally minimal: – Electricity is limited (government supply + solar support) – There is no room heating /cooling system - Summers days and nights are very hot – Winter days & nights are cold – Meals are simple, vegetarian, home-cooked Indian food only – No packaged, processed, or city-style food options - There are no options for cooking your own food. – The nearest shops and restaurants are several kilometers away. Guests are welcomed into a calm, grounded environment where routines follow nature rather than urban schedules. The biodiversity and ecology preserved in the farm by following the agronomy best practices along with dairy farming, ensures healthy air, water and soil that nourishes the farm. Most of the cereals, vegetables and fruits are grown organically in our own farm. Along with this we also serve milk and milk products from our own farm fresh unadulterated milk. When is the best time for stay: We are always fully prepared to welcome our guests round the year because every single day of the year our farm lives up to its promise of leading agritourism destination. Each month of the year has something unique to offer at our farm. However, for your convenience and to help you create a farm stay experiences of your imagination we have clubbed months season wise with their special characteristics. You can choose what best excites and suits you. March and April – This is the spring time at farm and one of the most beautiful season. Beautiful flowers and fresh leaves emerging from trees create an atmosphere of freshness and revival. Best time to revive your health through light Yoga practice and nutritious diet. Among fruits, you can enjoy farm fresh Mulberry, Apple ber and Peach at this time. May and June – It is the summer season. Summers at farm are much better than cities. This is the best time to enjoy in our open fresh running water pool. One quick dip each in morning and evening in its fresh & chill water is enough to keep you cool throughout the day. In fruits Chikoo is available right from the beginning of May and by May end Lychee season starts and you can relish unlimited Lychee directly from our orchard. Besides you can savor nutritious Bael juice, Chikoo shake and Aam panna (raw mango beverage) or buttermilk and lassi all farm fresh! July and August – It is the rainy season and the arrival of Monsoon is a phenomenon in itself and lifeline of all farm operations. During this time you can enjoy wide varieties of unlimited Mangoes directly from orchard. This is also the time of Jamun and Pear that you can enjoy farm fresh! September and October – This is the autumn season days are pleasant and nights begin to cool again. November to February – Arguably the best time of the year. November and December are moderately cold, January is the coldest and February is mild. Great time to work on your health with yoga and exercise. Organic vegetables are in abundance for rich supplies of minerals and vitamins through soups and salads. Appetite is strong and you can relish farm fresh butter in breakfast and other heavy stuff. Woods are out and enjoy bonfire under clear skies. ➡️ Please note that this is not a hotel but a genuine farm stay. When i am not there Saurabh will take care of everything. ACTIVITIES: 1. Agriculture farm visit 2. Organic farm visit 3. Dairy farm visit 4. Exposure to agriculture and farming activities for your kids which will serve as life enhancing skills in them 4. Exposure to yoga way of life for health, happiness and harmony. 5. Morning and evening walk in farm walkways. HOW YOU CAN UTILISE YOUR TIME AT FARM: 1. The best way is to improve your health. Waking up early, going for a brisk walk, doing free weight exercises or learning some health enhancing yoga asana could give good returns for your time. 2. Reading books from our small library is another way. 3. Engage in light activities like helping in vegetable garden, feeding goats or learning about livestock management. 4. Or you can utilise it as ‘work from home away from home’. Working from remote location is less tiring and gives a sense of freedom. Why you may not enjoy staying here ❌ If you need AC in all rooms. We provide only one AC in the dining area. ❌ If you need AC 24 hours. Our area does not have electricity round the clock. Power backup is available 24 hours but it does not support AC use. Electricity usually comes 12–16 hours per day. AC here is considered a comfort during extreme heat, not a 24/7 necessity. We believe that when AC becomes an addiction, it is highly unhealthy and not part of a sustainable life. ❌ If you need tea before kitchen hours (8:30 am) and cannot prepare it on your own. ❌ If you prefer unhealthy or packaged food (like bread, Maggi, or junk food) and do not wish to adapt to our wholesome, farm-based lifestyle. 🌱 Our place is designed for those who value simple living, health, and sustainability. If that feels exciting to you, you will feel at home. Other things to note Breakfast is included. Lunch and dinner are available ONLY with advance notice, prepared fresh in our home kitchen. We do not provide special diets, customized menus, non-vegetarian food, or packaged items. Please note: our kitchen operates only between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, and it is not possible to accept last-minute meal requests. Advance notice is mandatory, as is informing us about any food allergies. The kitchen is not part of the Airbnb amenities. It is an extra facility provided for your well-being. Kindly understand that we do not serve pasta, Maggi, packed food, or non-vegetarian dishes. Chai is also served only within the operational timings. Respecting these guidelines will help us maintain smooth coordination and ensure a nourishing experience for everyone. Thank you for your understanding 🙏🏽
