Snuggle up peacefully in our little haven and have the world all to yourself, yet you will be just fifteen minutes from Philip Island. Wake up to complete quiet, help yourself to yummy provisions. A self contained sanctuary on 100 acres of rolling hills looking out to the bay, with a paddock just for you with a picnic table looking out over Bass Strait, spectacular sunsets, all minutes from Kilcunda. Please note that only after we have discussed your doggy in detail will she be welcome. The space The studio is 8x8 metres, ceilings 5+ metres high facing north, looking out to Western Port bay. It is part of our shed, built to the highest standards and insulated etc up to 6++ * energy rating. We lived there for 18 months while we were building our house and were enchanted daily for the whole time we were there. The bathroom - just for guests - is off the studio. The studio is finished in a mix of barn style and a little luxe where it counts. The queen bed is very comfy, finished with luxury linen, it has curtains you can pull around it for privacy, an electrically powered recliner ensures total comfort if you want to read a book, or the oversized 4 seater sofa is comfy enough for an afternoon snooze. If more than two guests book, we will also open up The Snug for additional guests. Each additional guest will attract a small additional fee. The Snug has two very comfy single beds also with luxury linen, a sofa and a desk. The snug is just off the bathroom, so both the studio and the snug have doors leading to the bathroom. Please let us know if two friends who require separate spaces are booking and we will open up the snug: this will attract a small extra fee per night, the same as a third person would. There is wifi throughout the space, the internet is reliable and fast. Guest access Guests will have access to the studio which includes a kitchenette with an Induction hotplate, small oven, microwave, barbecue, bar fridge, outside bath and inside bathroom with shower. Outside there is another dining setting in a garden area for guests looking out to the bay. There is free wifi. If more beds are required, the snug has two single beds, a sofa, desk and a little sound proofed walk in storage/ washing machine area. We have a paddock up the hill that we keep free so that guests can go up, enjoy the spectacular sunsets from the picnic table on the hill, doggies can run off leash in the fenced paddock. Other things to note Provisions like eggs from our hens, local bread, condiments, homemade muesli, milk, yoghurt and juice, teas and coffees will be waiting for you. Please note that it is very important that we come to an agreement about your dog for our comfort and your safety in the country before you consider bringing a pet.
