The space Our 1928 house is our pride and joy, a home filled with artistic creativity, and immense pride in ownership. We want to ensure our guests that we are going to provide a safe and clean environment. Cleaning rooms, literally walls and floors.. Your room has a comfy twin , a great bar height table to work at or gaze outside. plus access to an in room fridge and microwave. snacks will be waiting for you. Note the bathroom is shared with my son who lives upstairs. Our home also has a Grandmother clock and 1960s Coo coo clock. If these are a issue let us know we will put them on night sleep. You may use the living room to read and watch TV upon request. Absolutely no eatting or shoes in the living room area. Guest access Guests have access to the shared bath and European shower. Which is also sanitized daily. Relax in our beautiful backyard or play a game of darts. No kitchen access will be allowed. Your space has a microwave and mini frig. Please refraim from overstocking or buying items that won't fit in your mini refrigerator. Your room is your storage. You may relax in our living room and read a book, TV upon request. Please eat in your space No eatting in The Living room. We expect our guests to keep within the standards of Covid 19, If you have been vaccinated you do not need to wear a mask. Sanitizer is provided. Smoking of any kind is not permitted on our property. Please also reframe from using aerosol/ spray perfumes. Thank you for you consideration. During your stay We let our guests go about their visit or work. Occasionally we will meet on our way out for the day.. We have busy lives and will not interfere with your focus. However we certainly will make every effort to accommodate you and answer questions about our city. I have been here since 1973. and have a deep knowledge of Portland. Otherwise we will message through Airbnb messenger when necessity calls. Other things to note A few other things about our home. There is no kitchen access. You will have everything you'll need in your room. We will care for, and provided clean dishes on a daily basis if needed. We are not a TV house, cable is not available but Hi speed internet is. Plenty of storage in your room. We can accommodate a bicycle with backyard storage. PLEASE ASK WHERE YOU CAN PARK. If you have a car we have off street parking on promises. Please park there as we like to stay on good terms with neighbors. No animals are allowed. laundry is available once a week. If your staying longer than a week. No guests of guests staying with us are allowed inside our home at any time. We have a bar and an a occasional will occur. But we are not a party house. Do not help yourself. We love BBQing and will have a bbq occasionally and definitely will extend an invite. Please do not use perfumes, colognes, sprays, candles, aromatherapy in our home at all.
