Look forward to welcoming you here in London! The space Hello everybody, I'm Joe, and I've got a small, but cosy and sunny double room to rent in my flat in Clapton, Hackney E5. For the moment I'm just renting out my spare room. I live in the flat alone, so looking to have people to come and stay, either for a day, a few, or a few weeks - up to a month or so. The room is available for a single person, or for two. Linen and towels will be provided. Feel free to make use of the Wifi throughout the house, the kitchen, the bathroom, the washing machine, and the sofa and TV in the lounge. Please make yourself at home and don't be shy! I'd like your stay to be as pleasant as possible, and for you to feel able to communicate with me about your needs, particularly if you're moving to London or visiting for the first time. I think my city is great, so I hope you will feel the same too. I'm pretty easy going, but there is zero tolerance for any prejudice or nastiness. The flat is part of a larger Victorian house, on one of the tree lined Clapton streets, just off Lower Clapton Road. There are various places to eat, go shopping for groceries, or go for a drink nearby, and i'm very happy to give you any suggestions. There is a great bus network to Shoreditch, Victoria, Dalston, Oxford Street, London Bridge, Euston, King's Cross, Stratford (and more). Clapton overground station is a 5 minute walk for direct trains to Liverpool Street, and Hackney Central station is a 5 minute bus ride (15 min walk) for trains to Islington & Stratford. Stations at Hackney Downs, Rectory Road and Lea Bridge are all within a 15 minute walk, or a short bus journey. The house is well located to visit the lovely Chatsworth Road Market on a Sunday, London Fields and Broadway Market, Columbia Road, Clissold Park and Stoke Newington's Church Street. It's also a very pleasant walk to Lea Valley Park and Hackney Marshes. Please do get in touch if you're interested, and if you'd like to know anything else. I usually intend to be present during your stay, but in the rare occasion that I may be away, I shall make sure you're well looked after in my absence with regards to checking in etc, and if you've any problems.
